हिन्दीभाषाटीकासहितम् ।
ऋतुओं में उत्पन्न होने वाले सुगन्धित पुष्पों से बनी हुई और लटकते हुए झुमकों से शोभा वाली तथा खिली हुई रंग-बिरङ्गी माला पहन कर, उत्तम चन्दन से अंगों को लिप्त कर, श्रेष्ठ आभूषणों से अंगों को विभूषित कर, गुग्गुल आदि सुगन्धित पदार्थों की धूप से धूपित होकर, लक्ष्मी देवी के समान वेष बना कर, बहुत सारी कुब्ज और किरात देश की दासियों तथा अन्य महत्तरकों (अन्तःपुर के सेवकों) से घिरी हुई महाराणी चेल्लणादेवी जहां पर बाहर की उपस्थान- शाला थी और जहां पर श्रेणिक राजा था, वहीं आ गई । तब श्रेणिक राजा चेल्लणादेवी के साथ प्रधान धार्मिक रथ पर चढ़ गया । कोरिंट- पुष्पों से अलंकृत छत्र धारण किया । विशेष औपपातिक सूत्र से जानना चाहिए । राजा श्री भगवान् की सेवा करने में लग गया । इसी प्रकार चेल्लणादेवी सब अन्तःपुर के सेवकों से घिरी हुई जहां श्रमण भगवान् महावीर थे वहां जाकर उनकी स्तुति की, उनको नमस्कार किया तथा श्रेणिक राजा को आगे कर और अपने आप खड़ी रहकर श्री भगवान् की पर्युपासना करने में लग गई ।

टीका - इस सूत्र में वर्णन किया गया है कि जब महाराणी चेल्लणा देवी ने महाराज से श्रीभगवान् के आगमन का समाचार सुना तो वह स्नागार में गई, वहां उसने स्नान किया और वस्त्र तथा आभूषण पहने । फिर महाराजा श्रेणिक के साथ धार्मिक यान में बैठ कर श्री श्रमण भगवान् महावीर स्वामी की सेवा में उपस्थित हुई । इस विषय का विस्तृत वर्णन 'औपपातिकसूत्र' से जानना चाहिए । भेद इतना ही है कि वहां यह उपाख्यान कोणिक राजा के नाम से आता है और यहां श्रेणिक राजा नाम से । सारे सूत्र का सारांश इतना ही है कि महाराज श्रेणिक बड़े समारोह के साथ श्री भगवान् की सेवा में उपस्थित हुआ और १७ देशों की दासी और वृद्ध पुरुषों से परिवृत महारानी भी उनके साथ श्री भगवान् के दर्शनार्थ गई । दोनों वहां जाकर उनकी पर्युपासना में लग गये ।

On the tenth day, adorned with fragrant flowers, dangling earrings, and colorful garlands, her body anointed with the finest sandalwood, her limbs embellished with exquisite ornaments, perfumed with incense like guggul, dressed like the goddess Lakshmi, surrounded by numerous maidservants from the Kubja and Kirata lands, and other attendants of the inner palace, Queen Chellanādevi arrived at the outer reception hall where King Shrenika was waiting. King Shrenika then ascended the royal chariot, adorned with a canopy of Korint flowers. The details of this event can be found in the **Aupapātika Sūtra**.
