दशाश्रुतस्कन्धसूत्रम्
की अथवा कुबड़ी दासियों से, चिलातियाहिं- किरात देश की दासियों से तथा जाव-यावत् महत्तरग-विंद - महत्तरक - समूह से परिक्खित्ता - घिरी हुई जेणेव - जहां बाहिरिया - बाहर की उवद्वाण-साला - उपस्थान- शाला है जेणेव - जहां सेणियराया- श्रेणिक राजा था तेणेव वहीं पर उवागच्छइ-आती है और उवागच्छइत्ता-आकर तते णं-तब से वह सेणियराया-श्रेणिक राजा चेल्लणादेवीए - चेल्लणादेवी के सद्धिं-साथ धम्मियं - धार्मिक जाणप्पवरं श्रेष्ठ यान पर दुरूहइ–चढ़ गया दुरूहइत्ता - चढ़ कर सकोरिंट-मल्ल-दामेणं - कोरिंट वृक्ष के पुष्पों की माला से युक्त छत्तेणं धरिज्जमाणेणं - छात्र पर धारण करते हुए उववाइगमेणं - इस विषय में और औपपातिक सूत्र से णेयव्वं जानना चाहिए। जाव - यावत् राजा पज्जुवासइ-भगवान् की पर्युपासना करता है एवं इसी प्रकार चेल्लणादेवी - चेल्लणादेवी जाव-यावत् महत्तरग - महत्तरकों (अन्तःपुर के सेवकों) से परिक्खित्ता - आवृत होकर जेणेव - जहां पर समणे - श्रमण भगवं - भगवान् महावीरे - महावीर थे तेणेव वहीं पर उवागच्छइ - आती है और उवागच्छइत्ता - आकर समणं श्रमण भगवं भगवान् की वंदs - वन्दना करती है और उनको नमसइ- नमस्कार करती है फिर सेणियं रायं-श्रेणिक राजा को पुरओ काउं- आगे कर ठितिया चेव - खड़े होकर ही पज्जुवासइ-सेवा या पर्युपासना करती है ।

मूलार्थ - जहां स्नान - गृह था वहां आकर स्नान किया, बलिकर्म (शरीर को पुष्ट करने वाले तैल-मर्दन व्यायाम आदि) किया, कौतुक कर्म किया, अमङ्गल को दूर करने के लिए माङ्गलिक कर्म और प्रायश्चित्त किये । क्या वर्णन करें, पैरों में नूपुर और कटि में मणियों की कांची पहनी, कड़े और अंगूठियों से अंगों को सुशोभित किया, कण्ठ में एकावली हार, मरगव (आभूषण विशेष ) तीन लड़ी का हार और उत्तम वलयाकार आभूषण विशेष तथा हेम (सोने का बना हुआ) सूत्र धारण किया । कानों में कुण्डल डाले। इन सब आभूषणों से मुख अतीव उज्ज्वल हो गया । रत्नों से सब अंगों को विभूषित कर, चीन देश के बने हुए रेशमी वस्त्रों को पहन कर ढाके बङ्गाल के सूत्र से भी कोमल, चमकते हुए और मनोहर वस्त्रों से निर्मित चादर ऊपर ओढ़ कर, सब
