जाव सव्वण्णू सव्वदंसी पुव्वाणुपुव्विं चरमाणे गामाणुगामं दूतिज्जमाणे सुहं सुहेणं विहरमाणे इह आगए इह समोसढे इह संपत्ते जाव अप्पाणं भावेमाणे सम्मं विहरति ।

ततो नु महत्तरका यत्रैव श्रमणो भगवान् महावीरस्तत्रैवोपागच्छन्ति, उपागत्य च श्रमणं भगवन्तं महावीरं त्रिष्कृत्वा वन्दन्ति नमस्यन्ति वन्दित्वा नत्वा च नाम गोत्रे पृच्छन्ति, नाम- गोत्रे आपृच्छ्य नाम गोत्रे संप्रधारयन्ति, संप्रधार्यैकतो मिलन्ति, एकतो मिलित्वैकान्तम पक्रामन्ति, एकान्तमपक्रम्यैवमवादिषुः - यस्य, देवानां प्रियाः !, श्रेणिको राजा भंभसारो दर्शनं कांक्षति, यस्य देवानां प्रियाः !, श्रेणिको राजा दर्शनं स्पृहयति, यस्य, देवानां प्रियाः !, श्रेणिको राजा दर्शनं प्रार्थयति, यस्य, देवानां प्रियाः !, श्रेणिको राजा दर्शनमभिलषति, यस्य, देवानां प्रियाः !, श्रेणिको राजा नाम- गोत्रयोः श्रवणतया हृष्टस्तुष्टो यावद् भवति, स च श्रमणो भगवान् महावीर आदिकरस्तीर्थकरो यावत्सर्वज्ञः सर्वदर्शी पूर्वानुपूर्व्या चरन् ग्रामानुग्राममनुद्रुवन् सुखं सुखेन विहरन्निहागत इह समवसृत इह संप्राप्तो यावदात्मानं भावयन् सम्यग् विहरति ।
पदार्थान्वयः - तते - इसके अनन्तर णं-वाक्यालंकार के लिये है महत्तरगा - उक्त स्थानों के अधिकारी-वर्ग जेणेव -जहां पर समणे - श्रमण भगवं- भगवान् महावीरे - महावीरे थे तेणेव - उसी स्थान पर उवागच्छंति-आते हैं और उवागच्छइत्ता-उस स्थान पर आकर समणं - श्रमण भगवं- भगवान् महावीरं - महावीर स्वामी की तिक्खुत्तो-तीन बार प्रदक्षिणा करवंदंति - वन्दना करते हैं नमसंति - नमस्कार करने हैं और वंदित्ता - वन्दना करके और नमसित्ता - नमस्कार करके नामगोयं - श्री भगवान् का नाम और गोत्र पुच्छंति - पूछते हैं नाम गोयं नाम और गोत्र को पुच्छित्ता - धारण कर एगओ - एक स्थान पर मिलंति-मिलते हैं एगओ मिलित्ता- एक स्थान पर मिल कर एगंतं - एकान्त स्थान पर अवक्कमंति-चले जाते हैं एगंतमवक्कमित्ता - एकान्त स्थान पर जाकर एवं - इसी प्रकार वयासी - कहने लगे देवाणुप्पिया - हे देवों के प्रिय लोगो जस्स णं - जिसके दंसणं-दर्शन

Then, the great ones, wherever the Venerable Lord Mahavira is, they go there. Having gone there, they bow down to the Venerable Lord Mahavira three times, they prostrate themselves. Having bowed down, having prostrated themselves, they ask about his name and lineage. Having asked about his name and lineage, they remember his name and lineage. Having remembered, they gather together. Having gathered together, they go to a secluded place. Having gone to a secluded place, they say this: "O beloved of the gods!
