था? उनके समाधान के लिए हम कह सकते हैं कि विघ्र-शान्ति के लिए इस में तीनों मंगल विद्यमान हैं । जैसे 'सुयं मे आउसं' इत्यादि आदिवाक्य में श्री भगवान् के वचनों का अनुवाद रूप मंगल ही है और दूसरे में 'सुयं' शब्द से 'श्रुत' ज्ञान का ग्रहण किया गया है, अतः श्रुत-स्मरण भी मंगल रूप ही है । जिसको इस विषय में विशेष जिज्ञासा हो, उसको अपनी जिज्ञासा पूर्ति के लिए 'नन्दीसूत्र' का स्वाध्याय करना चाहिए। ___ मध्य-मंगल पर्युषणा कल्प अध्ययन है, क्योंकि इस अध्ययन में अर्हन् भगवान् के जीवन चरित्र का वर्णन है, जो सदैव मंगल-रूप ही है । अथवा अर्हन्त भगवन्तों की आज्ञा में चलने वाले साधु भी मंगल-रूप ही हैं, क्योंकि मंगल चार प्रकार का प्रतिपादन किया गया है । जैसे-"चत्तारि मंगलं अरिहंता-मंगलं, सिद्धा मंगलं, साहू मंगलं, केवलिपन्नत्तो धम्मो मंगलं ।
अन्तिम मंगल “तेणं कालेणं तेणं समएणं समणे भगवं महावीरे" इत्यादि वाक्य है । अतः व्यवहार पक्ष में इसमें तीनों मंगल विद्यमान हैं । इन तीनों मंगलों में से पहला मंगल विघ्र-शान्ति, मध्य मंगल चिर-सञ्चित पापों के क्षय के लिए और अन्तिम मंगल शिष्यों को शास्त्रार्थ में स्थिर करने के लिए होता है । किन्तु वास्तव में सब शास्त्र ही मंगल-रूप हैं, क्योंकि इनकी सहायता से आत्मा संसार सागर को पार कर मंगल-रूप सिद्ध पद की प्राप्ति करता है । उस पद की प्राप्ति के लिए सम्यग् ज्ञान, दर्शन और चारित्र ही साधन है, जिनका इस सूत्र में विवरण किया गया है अतः सम्पूर्ण सूत्र का स्वाध्याय ही मंगल है । इस सूत्र के अनुवाद करने का ध्येय-पहले भी कहा जा चुका है कि इस सूत्र में धर्म के मुख्य अंग आचार का प्रतिपादन विशेष रूप से किया गया है और साथ ही यह सम्यग् ज्ञान, सम्यक् चारित्र और सम्यग् दर्शन का भी बोधक है । अतः इसका अध्ययन अवश्य करना चाहिए । हमारे विचार में तो यह बात भली भांति आती है कि पर्युषण के दिनों में कल्पसूत्र और अंतगडसूत्र के स्थान पर अथवा उनके साथ-साथ इस सूत्र का
