दशाश्रुतस्कन्धसूत्रम्
व्यक्ति अपने तो बड़े से बड़े दोष के लिए भी अन्धे बन जाते हैं, किन्तु दूसरों ने अज्ञान से भी यदि कुछ कुकर्म कर दिया तो भरी सभा में उसका अपमान करने के लिए कह बैठते हैं "अरे दुष्ट ! तूने यह कुकर्म किया है तू बड़ा नीच और पापी है । तेरा मुँह देखना भी उचित नहीं" । इसी प्रकार जो व्यक्ति अपने किये हुए दोषों का दूसरों पर आरोपण करता है और दूसरे के दोषों को सभा में प्रकट करता है, वह सत्पुरुष कदापि नहीं कहा जा सकता । अतः जो सत्पुरुष हो वह इन दोनों का सब से पहले परित्याग करे । सच्चा सत्पुरुष वही है जो अपने दोषों को स्वीकार कर लेता है और दूसरे के दोषों को धैर्य - पूर्वक सहन कर लेता है । जो ऐसा नहीं करता वह नीच है और सहज ही में महा - मोहनीय कर्म के बन्धन में आ जाता है ।
अब सूत्रकार नवम स्थान का विषय वर्णन करते हैं :
जाणमाणो परिसओ (साए) सच्चामोसाणि भासइ । अक्खीण-झंझे पुरिसे महामोहं पकुव्वइ ।।६।।
जानानः परिषदं सत्य - मृषे भाषते ।
अक्षीण झञ्झः पुरुषो महामोहं प्रकुरुते ।।६।।
नवमी दशा
पदार्थान्वयः - परिसओ - परिषद् को जाणमाणो - जानता हुआ सच्चा - मोसाणि - सत्य • और असत्य से मिश्रित भाषा जो भासइ - कहता है और अक्खीण-झंझे पुरिसे - जो पुरुष कलह से उपरत नहीं हुआ है वह महामोहं - महा- मोहनीय कर्म की पकुव्वइ - उपार्जना करता है ।
मूलार्थ - जो व्यक्ति जानते हुए परिषद् में सच और झूठ मिला कर कहता है और जिस पुरुष ने कलह का त्याग नहीं किया है वह महा-मोहनीय कर्म के बन्धन में आ जाता है ।
टीका - इस सूत्र में सत्यासत्य - मिश्रित भाषा के प्रयोग से होने वाले महा - मोहनीय कर्म का वर्णन किया गया है । जो व्यक्ति जानते हुए, परिषद् में सत्यासत्य - मिश्रित भाषा बोलता है और सदा कलह को बढ़ाता रहता है, क्योंकि मिश्रित वाणी कहने से स्वभाव से ही कलह बढ़ता है, वह महा- मोहनीय कर्म की उपार्जना करता है कहने का तात्पर्य यह है कि मान लिया जाय दो व्यक्तियों में परस्पर किसी बात पर कलह हो गया । दोनों

Individuals become blind to even their greatest faults, but if others, due to ignorance, commit any wrongdoing, they are quick to insult them in public, saying, "Oh, wicked one! You have committed this evil deed. You are a great villain and sinner. It is not even proper to look at your face."
