दशाश्रुतस्कन्धसूत्रम्
से मार कर (विक्षिप्त चित्त से प्रसन्नता के मारे अपने नीच कर्म की सफलता पर ) हंसता है वह मोहनीय कर्म की उपार्जना करता है । इसके कारण उसको इस संसार-चक्र में असंख्य जन्म ग्रहण कर परिभ्रमण करना पड़ता है । अतः अपना कल्याण चाहने वाले को किसी से विश्वास - घात नहीं करना चाहिए और दूसरे को मूर्ख बना कर उसकी हंसी नहीं करनी चाहिए ।
इन छः स्थानों का सम्बन्ध त्रस - काय - हिंसा-जनित महा-मोहनीय कर्म से है । यहां तक इनका वर्णन किया गया है । इनके समान अन्य स्थानों की स्वयं कल्पना कर लेनी चाहिए ।

नवमी दशा
पदार्थान्वयः - गूढायारी - जो कपट करने वाला (अपने आचार को) निगूहिज्जा - छिपाता है मायं-माया को मायाए- माया से छायए- छिपाता है असच्चवाई-झूठ बोलता है णिण्हाइ- सूत्रार्थ को छिपाता है वह महामोहं- महा- मोहनीय कर्म की पकुव्वइ - उपार्जना करता है ।
मूलार्थ - जो अपने दोषों को छिपाता है, माया को माया से आच्छादन करता है, झूठ बोलता है और सूत्रार्थ का गोपन करता है वह महा-मोहनीय कर्म के बन्धन में आ जाता है ।
टीका - इस सूत्र में असत्य - जनित महा - मोहनीय कर्म का वर्णन किया गया है । जो व्यक्ति गुप्त अनाचार सेवन करता है और उसको छिपाता है, माया का माया से आच्छादन करता है, दूसरों के प्रश्नों का झूठा उत्तर देता है और मूल गुण और उत्तर गुणों को भी दोष युक्त करता है अथवा इससे भी अधिक सूत्रार्थ का भी अपलाप करता है अर्थात् स्वेच्छानुसार ही सूत्रों के वास्तविक अर्थ छिपाकर अप्रासङ्गिक अर्थ करता है
