मूलार्थ - हे आर्यो ! इस प्रकार प्रारम्भ कर श्री श्रमण भगवान् महावीर स्वामी ने बहुत से निर्ग्रन्थ और निर्ग्रन्थियों को आमन्त्रित कर कहा " हे आर्यो ! तीस मोहनीय कर्म के स्थान हैं, जिनका वर्णन किया जायगा । स्त्री या पुरुष सामान्य या विशेष रूप से पुनः पुनः इनका आसेवन करता हुआ मोहनीय कर्म के प्रभाव से बुरे कर्मों को एकत्रित करता है" । टीका - इस सूत्र से सब से पहले यह शिक्षा मिलती है कि परोपकारी पुरुष को दूसरों के बिना कहे ही उपकार की बुद्धि से हित- शिक्षाएं प्रदान करनी चाहिएं । जैसे श्री भगवान् ने हित- बुद्धि से स्वयं साधु और साध्वियों को आमन्त्रित कर शिक्षित किया "हे आर्यो ! वक्ष्यमाण तीस कारणों से स्त्री या पुरुष मोहनीय कर्म का उपार्जन करते हैं और उनके कारण वे मुक्ति के अभाव से संसार-चक्र में परिभ्रमण करने लग जाते हैं । कोई भी सामान्यतया अथवा विशेष रूप से वक्ष्यमाण कर्मों का आचरण करते हुए मोहनीय कर्म के बन्धन में आ जाता है । जिस प्रकार जिनके अध्यवसाय होते हैं उसी प्रकार के I कर्मों की वे उपार्जना भी करते हैं । अतः इन तीस स्थानों को अच्छी तरह जान कर इनसे बचने का प्रयत्न करना चाहिए ।"
नवमी दशा
अब सूत्रकार गाथाओं के द्वारा मोहनीय कर्म के तीस स्थानों का वर्णन करते हैं :जे केइ तसे पाणे वारिमज्झे विगाहिआ ।
उदएण क्कम्म मारेइ महामोहं पकुव्वइ ||१||
यः कश्चित्त्रसान् प्राणान् वारि-मध्ये विगाह्य | उदकेनाक्रम्य मारयति महामोहं प्रकुरुते ||१||
पदार्थान्वयः - जे - जो केइ - कोई तसे- त्रस पाणे- प्राणियों को वारिमज्झे-पानी में विगाहिआ - डुबकियां देकर उदएण जल से क्म्म आक्रमण कर मारेइ-मारता है वह महामोहं - महा मोहनीय कर्म की पकुव्वइ - उपार्जना करता है ।
मूलार्थ - जो व्यक्ति त्रस प्राणियों को पानी में डुबकियां देकर जल के आक्रमण से मारता है वह महा-मोहनीय कर्म की उपार्जना करता है ।

## Dasha Shruta Skandha Sutra

**Original Meaning:** O Aryas! Thus beginning, the glorious Shraman Bhagwan Mahavira Swami invited many Nirgranthas and Nirgranthis and said, "O Aryas!
