दशाश्रुतस्कन्धसूत्रम्
टीका - इस सूत्र से प्रतिपादन किया गया है कि यदि मार्ग में चलते हुए साधु के पैर में कण्टक आदि बैठ जायं तो उसको क्या करना चाहिए । जब प्रतिमाधारी मुनि अपनी वृत्ति अनुसार गमन-क्रिया में प्रयत्न-शील हो और उसके पैर में काँटा, कङ्कर आदि बैठ जायं तो उसको उनको निकालना नहीं चाहिए नांही उनकी विशुद्धि करनी चाहिए, किन्तु ईर्या-समिति के अनुसार गमन क्रिया में ही प्रवृत्त रहना चाहिए, क्योंकि प्रतिमाधारी को शरीर का ममत्व त्याग कर परिषहों के सहने के लिए सदैव तत्पर रहना चाहिए । यही प्रतिमा-धारण करने का मुख्य उद्देश्य है ।
अब सूत्रकार फिर उक्त विषय में ही कहते हैं :
मासियं भिक्खु-पडिमं पडिवन्नस्स जाव अच्छिसि पाणाणि वा बीयाणि वा रए वा परियावज्जेज्जा, नो से कप्पति नीहरित्तए । वा विसोहित्तए वा, कप्पति से अहारियं रियत्तए ।
सप्तमी दशा
मासिक भिक्षु-प्रतिमां प्रतिपन्नस्य यावदक्ष्णोः प्राणिनो वा बीजानि वा रजांसि वा पर्यापद्येरन्, नैव स कल्पते निर्हर्तुं वा विशोधयितुं वा, कल्पते स यथेर्यमर्तुम् ।
पदार्थान्वयः-मासियं-मासिकी भिक्खु-पडिमं - भिक्षु - प्रतिमा पडिवन्नस्स - प्रतिपन्न साधु की जाव - यावत् अच्छिसि - आंखों में पाणाणि प्राणी वा अथवा बीयाणि - बीज वा अथवा रए वा-रज परियावज्जेज्जा - घुस जाय तो से उस साधु को नीहरित्तए - निकालना वा-अथवा विसोहित्तए - विशोधन करना नो कप्पति - योग्य नहीं किन्तु से उसको अहारियं - ईर्या-समिति के अनुसार रियत्तए - गमन करना कप्पति - योग्य है ।
मूलार्थ - मासिकी भिक्षु - प्रतिमा- प्रतिपन्न साधु की आंखों में यदि कोई जीव, बीज या धूलि पड़ जाय तो साधु को उसे निकालना अथवा विशोधन नहीं करना चाहिए, किन्तु ईर्या-समिति के अनुसार गमन क्रिया में ही प्रवृत्त रहना चाहिए ।
