दश चित्त-समाधि स्थान स्थविर भगवन्तों ने प्रतिपादन किये हैं ? गुरु उत्तर में कहते हैं- स्थविर भगवन्तों ने ये दश चित्त-समाधि स्थान प्रतिपादन किये हैं । जैसे:

टीका - इस दशा का आरम्भ भी, पूर्वोक्त चार दशाओं के समान, सूत्रकार ने गुरु शिष्य के परस्पर प्रश्नोत्तर रूप में ही किया है, क्योंकि यह शैली इतनी रुचिकर है कि इससे अपने सिद्धान्तों की पुष्टि और जनता को ज्ञान-लाभ बिना किसी विशेष प्रयास के हो जाता है । यह श्रुत - ज्ञान के बोध कराने का सहज से सहज मार्ग है ।
अब सूत्रकार प्रस्तुत विषय का वर्णन करते हुए कहते हैं:
तेणं कालेणं तेणं समएणं वाणियगामे नगरे होत्था, एत्थं नगर - वण्णओ भाणियव्वो । तस्स णं वाणियगामस्स नगरस्स बहिया उत्तर-पुरच्छिमे दिसीभाए दूतिपलासए णामं चेइए होत्था, चेइए वण्णओ भाणियव्वो । जियसत्तू राया तस्स धारणी नामं देवी । एवं सव्वं समोसरणं भाणियव्वं । जाव पुढवी- सिलापट्टए, सामी समोसढे परिसा निग्गया । धम्मो कहिओ परिसा पडिगया ।
तस्मिन् काले तस्मिन्समये वाणिज्यग्रामो नगरो बभूव । अत्र नगर-वर्णनं भणितव्यम् । तस्य वाणिज्यग्राम-नगरस्य बहिरुत्तरपौरस्त्ये दिग्भागे दूतिपलाशकं नाम चैत्यमभूत् । चैत्य-वर्णनं भणितव्यम् । जितशत्रु राजा तस्य धारणी नाम्नी देवी । एवं सर्वं समवशरणं (च) भणितव्यम् । यावत्पृथिवी - शिला-पट्टके स्वामी समवसृतः परिषन्निर्गता । धर्मः कथितः परिषत्प्रतिगता ।
