इसी प्रकार है" और साथ ही गुरू जो कुछ भी आज्ञा दें उसकी प्रेम पूर्वक पालना होनी चाहिए, दूसरा भेद काया द्वारा गुरू के अनुकूल उसकी सेवा करना है अर्थात् गुरू जिस अङ्ग की काया द्वारा सेवा करने की आज्ञा प्रदान करे उसी अङ्ग की उचित रूप से अनुकूलता के साथ सेवा करना तथा जिस तरह दूसरों को साता (सुख) मिले उसी तरह उनके शरीर की सेवा करना ("प्रतिरूप - काय - संस्पर्शनता" - यथा सहते तथाअंगोपांगानि संवाहयति) । ऊपर कही हुई सहायताओं के अतिरिक्त शिष्य को गुरू आदि के सब कार्य अकुटिलता के साथ करने चाहिएं अर्थात् उनके किसी कार्य में भी कुटिलता का बर्ताव नहीं करना चाहिए, प्रत्युत गुरू जिस कार्य के लिए आज्ञा दे उस कार्य को प्रेम और भक्तिपूर्वक आज्ञा-प्रदान - काल में ही कर देना चाहिए । इसी का नाम सहायता - विनय है । "सहायस्य भावः सहायता" अर्थात् परोपकार बुद्धि से दूसरों के कार्य करने को ही सहायता कहते हैं ।
चतुर्थी दशा
अब सूत्रकार वर्ण-सञ्ज्वलनता का विषय वर्णन करते हैं:
से किं तं वण्ण-संजलणया ? वण्ण-संजलणया चउव्विहा पण्णत्ता, तं जहा - अहा- तच्चाणं वण्ण-वाई भवइ, अवण्णवाइं पडिहणित्ता भवइ, वण्णवाइं अणुबूहित्ता भवइ, आय-वुड्ढसेवी यावि भवइ । से तं वण्ण - संजलणया ||३||
अथ केयं वर्ण-सञ्ज्वलनता ? वर्ण-सञ्ज्वलनता चतुर्विधा प्रज्ञप्ता, तद्यथा- याथातथ्यं वर्णवादी भवति, अवर्णवादिनं प्रतिहन्ता भवति, वर्णवादिनमनुबृंहिता भवति, आत्म-वृद्ध-सेवकश्चापि भवति । सेयं वर्णसञ्ज्वलनता ।।३।।
पदार्थन्वयः - से किं तं - वह कौन सी वण्ण-संजलणया-वर्ण-संज्वलनता है ? (गुरू कहते हैं) वण्ण-संजलणया-वर्ण-सञ्जवलनता चउव्विहा- चार प्रकार की पण्णत्ता - प्रतिपादन की है। तं जहा - जैसे- अहातच्चाणं - यथातथ्य वण्णवाई- वर्णवादी भवइ हो, अवर्णवादी का प्रतिहनन करने वाला हो वण्णवाइं- वर्णवादी के गुणों का अणुबूहित्ता - ! 1- प्रकाश करने वाला भवइ - हो आय- अपने आत्मा से वुड्ढसेवी - वृद्धों की सेवा करने वाला भवइ हो से तं यही वण्ण-संजलणया-वर्ण-सञ्ज्वलनता है ।
