चतुर्थी दशा
हिन्दीभाषाटीकासहितम् ।
"सम्पत्' के-'द्रव्य-सम्पत' और 'भाव-सम्पत्'-दो भेद हैं | शिष्य-समूह, जो उसके अधिकार में हैं, वह गणी की 'द्रव्य-सम्पत' है और ज्ञानादि-गुण-संग्रह 'भाव-सम्पत्' कहलाती है। इन दोनों सम्पत्तियों से परिपूर्ण व्यक्ति ही वास्तव में 'गणी' पद को सुशोभित कर सकता है ।
__ इन दो भेदों के अतिरिक्त 'सम्पत्' के 'काल-सम्पत्' और 'क्षेत्र-सम्पत'-दो और भेद भी होते हैं । इस प्रकार मिलाकर सब-द्रव्य, भाव, काल और क्षेत्र चार भेद हुए । यह चार प्रकार की सम्पत् लौकिक और लोकोत्तर दोनों पक्षों में मानी जाती है ।
गृहस्थी लोगों की 'द्रव्य-सम्पत्'-धन-धान्य आदि, 'क्षेत्र-सम्पत्'-विशाल क्षेत्र आदि, 'काल-सम्पत्'-समय का अनुकूल होना और 'भाव-सम्पत्' ज्ञानादि गुणों का होना है । इसी तरह लोकोत्तर-सम्पत् के विषय में भी जानना चाहिए |
इस कथन से सिद्ध यह हुआ कि यदि गणी ज्ञानादि गुणों से परिपूर्ण होगा तभी वह गण की भली प्रकार से रक्षा करता हुआ स्वयं निर्वाण-पद की प्राप्ति कर सकता है, और साथ ही अन्य आत्माओं को भी निर्वाण-पद के योग्य बना सकता है |
प्रस्तुत दशा में गणि-सम्वत्-द्रव्य और भाव रूप-वर्णन की गई है । अब सूत्रकार निम्न-लिखित सूत्र से दशा का आरम्भ करते हैं:___ सुयं मे आउसं तेणं भगवया एवमक्खायं इह खलु थेरेहि भगवंतेहिं अट्ठ-विहा गणि-संपया पण्णत्ता । कयरा खलु अट्ठ-विहा गणि-संपया पण्णत्ता? इमा खलु अट्ट-विहा गणि-संपया पण्णत्ता; तं जहा:
श्रुतं मया, आयुष्मन् ! तेन भगवतैवमाख्यातम् इह खलु स्थविरैर्भगवद्भिरष्ट-विधा गणि-सम्पत् प्रज्ञप्ता | कतरा खल्वष्टविधा गणि-सम्पत् प्रज्ञप्ता? इयं खल्वष्ट-विधा गणि-सम्पत् प्रज्ञप्ता । तद्यथा
पदार्थान्वयः-आउसं-हे आयुष्मन् शिष्य ! मे-मैंने सुयं-सुना है तेणं-उस भगवया भगवान् ने एवं इस प्रकार अक्खायं-प्रतिपादन किया है इह-इस तरह जिन-शासन में खलु-अवधारणार्थ में है थेरेहिं-स्थविर भगवंतेहिं-भगवन्तों ने अट्ट-विहा-आठ प्रकार
