* migrandh, Shakya—the followers of Buddhist faith, those who practice i service austerities, these who wear red clothes and those who are
followers of Goshalak) or for beggars (Vanipakarti). It may be prakshit
offered with a hand or pot which has live water. It may be offered more i 9 than the need (atirikt). It may be maukharya-that which is got by 卐
talking more. It may be svayangrah-that which is taken by the monk himself with his hand. It may be aahrit-brought from the house or the
village before the monk for offering. It may be mrittikalip-plastered i with earth. It may be aachhaya-that which is offered after snatching
from a weak person. It may be anisrisht—that belonging to many persons jointly but offered without the consent of all of them. It may be
prepared on special dates for yajna or particular functions. It may be the i one kept within or outside the place of stay of monks for offering to the 4i monks. It may be faulty due to violence involved in it. A monk should not
accept any such a food. के विवेचन : पूर्व पाठ में बताया गया है कि साधु को आपात्तकाल के लिये अचित्त आहार भी संग्रह करना +नहीं कल्पता, क्योंकि संचय परिग्रह है और यह अपरिग्रह धर्म से विपरीत है। इस पाठ में बताया गया है कि ह भले ही आहार संचय के लिए न हो, तत्काल उपयोग के लिए हो, तथापि सूत्र में उल्लिखित दोषों में से किसी 卐 भी दोष से दूषित हो तो भी वह आहार, मुनि के लिए ग्राह्य नहीं है। इन दोषों का अर्थ इस प्रकार है
उद्दिष्ट-साधु के लिए ही तैयार किया गया। स्थापित-साधु के लिए अलग से रखा गया। रचित-साधु के निमित्त मोदक के चूरे से पुनः मोदक लड्डू बांधकर तैयार किया गया।
पर्यवजात-साधु को उद्देश्य करके एक भोज्य पदार्थ को दूसरे भोज्य पदार्थ के साथ मिलाकर रूपान्तर फ़ किया हुआ।
प्रकीर्ण-भूमि पर गिराते या टपकाते हुए दिया जाने वाला आहार। प्रादुष्करण-अँधेरे में रखे आहार को दीपक आदि जलाकर प्रकाश करके देना। प्रामित्य-साधु के निमित्त उधार लेकर तैयार किया गया आहार। मिश्रजात-साधु और गृहस्थ या अपने लिए संयुक्त रूप से बनाया गया आहार। क्रीतकृत-साधु के निमित्त खरीदकर बनाया गया। प्राभृत-साधु के आगमन की सम्भावना से मेहमानों को पहले या बाद में भोजन कराना। दानार्थ-दान देने के लिए बनाया गया। पुण्यार्थ-पुण्य के लिए बनाया गया।
