करता-चुगली करता है और मात्सर्य-ईर्ष्या-द्वेष करता है। वह सर्वज्ञ भगवान की आज्ञा से विरुद्ध
करता है, अतएव इनसे बचना चाहिये। ____131. (1) An article is lying at a threshing ground, in a farm or a forest., It may be a flower, a fruit, a vegetable, a straw, a piece of wood, or a piece of stone. It may be in small quantity or in large quantity. It may be in little or large. A monk is not allowed to accept it without the permission of its owner or without being offered by the owner. It is not proper for \ him to occupy a place for stay or to use vacant land for call of nature without permission.
(How then a monk should have a thing?) It is laid down in the code that daily a monk should seek permission everyday from the owner or
of the place of stay. He should avoid those houses, wherein his entry is not liked or those houses whose residents have an ill feeling towards him. He should not go to such houses for any desired article. From any such house he should not seek food, water, plank, bedding, cloth, pot, blanket, stick, cloth for cleaning feet, or earthen put and the like. A monk should not condemn any person. He should not see faults of 4 others. He should not have hatred towards anyone. A monk accepts any article in the name of the acharya, upadhyaya, old monk, sick monk or a recently initiated monk. He conceals the gratitude or a good act of others. He conceals the name of the donor. He causes any hurdle in the offering. He back bites. He is jealous of others. (Such a monk 5 transgresses the order of Bhagavan or the omniscient. So one should avoid such a behaviour). ये अस्तेय व्रत के आराधक नहीं NOT TRUE PRACTITIONER OF THE VOW OF NON-STEALING
[२] जे वि य पीढ-फलग-सिज्जा-संथारग-वत्थ-पाय-कंबल-मुहपोत्तिय-पायपुंछणाइभायण-भंडोवहिउवगरणं असंविभागी, असंगहरुई, तवतेणे य वइतेणे य रूवतेणे य आयारे चेव भावतेणे य, सद्दकरे झंझकरे कलहकरे वेरकरे विकहकरे असमाहिकरे सया अप्पमाणभोई सययं अणुबद्धवेरे य. णिच्चरोसी से तारिसए णाराहए वयमिणं।
[२] जो भी चौकी, पाट, शय्या, बिछौना, वस्त्र, पात्र, कम्बल, दण्ड, रजोहरण, आसन, : ॐ चोलपट्टक, मुखवस्त्रिका और पादपोंछन आदि, पात्र, मिट्टी के पात्र-भाण्ड और अन्य उपकरणों का + जो आचार्य आदि साधर्मिकों में उचित रूप से विभाजन नहीं करता, वह अस्तेयव्रत का आराधक नहीं है
होता। जो असंग्रहरुचि है अर्थात् एषणीय पीठ, फलक आदि गच्छ के लिए आवश्यक या उपयोगी
