युद्ध-स्थल की विभत्सता
चित्र में युद्ध-स्थल की विभत्सता को दिखाया गया है। पराये धन को प्राप्त करने के इच्छुक राजा किस प्रकार भयंकर नरसंहार करते हैं, यह सब अदत्तादान रूप तीसरे अधर्म (आस्रव) का परिणाम है।

चित्र के ऊपर के भाग में युद्ध-स्थल का वर्णन है - युद्धोन्मत्त राजा मदमस्त होकर एक-दूसरे पर आक्रमण कर रहे हैं। घोड़े हिनहिना रहे हैं। हाथी गुलगुला रहे हैं। घोड़े, रथ और पदाति सैनिक बड़े वेग से दौड़कर एक-दूसरे पर आक्रमण कर रहे हैं योद्धागण क्रोधित होकर मुँह फुलाकर अपने शत्रु पर प्रहार कर रहे हैं। किसी-किसी के नेत्र लाल हैं। गदायें आपस में टकरा रही हैं। आवेश के कारण वे अपने होठों को दाँतों से चबा रहे हैं।
चित्र के नीचे के भाग में संध्या के समय युद्ध-स्थल का बड़ा ही करुणाजनक चित्र प्रस्तुत किया गया है। संध्या के समय युद्ध-स्थल की भूमि अत्यंत रक्त-रंजित हो गई है। किसी योद्धा का पेट फटने से रक्त बह रहा है, अतें बाहर निकली हुई हैं। गहरा प्रहार होने से किसी की इन्द्रियाँ फड़फड़ा रही हैं। किसी के मर्म स्थानों पर चोट लगने से वह छटपटा रहा है। कोई असह्य वेदना के कारण करुण क्रंदन कर रहा है। जिनके मस्तक कट गये हैं, ऐसे हाथियों और अश्वों के शरीर से भूमि पटी हुई है। पराये धन को हड़पने की इच्छा रखने वाले राजा आदि अन्य व्यक्ति ऐसी युद्ध भूमि में प्रवेश करते हैं, जो प्रत्यक्ष श्मशान के समान दीखती है और परम रौद्र एवं भयंकर होती है।

REVOLTING SCENE OF THE BATTLE FIELD
The illustration presents the revolting scene of a battlefield. How terrible massacre the kings desirous of grabbing wealth of others commit is the outcome of the third door of Asrava, taking what is not given (stealing). The illustration presents a live picture of that. The scene at the top shows the battle. Kings driven by rage to fight are attacking each other. Horses are whining. Elephants are trumpeting. Elephant, chariot and foot soldier battalions are attacking with speed. Warriors are striking enemies with faces swollen in rage. Their eyes are red. Maces are colliding. They are biting their lips in excite
ment.
The bottom scene is the pitiful presentation of the evening when the day's battle is over Due to the excessive shedding of blood during the day the ground is filled with slime. Blood is oozing from the split belly of some warrior. Intestine has come out. Some soldier is shivering due to the blow by a mace. Some one is trembling due to blow on vital parts. Someone is pitifully wailing due to intolerable pain. The field is full of bodies of beheaded elephants. Kings and other people desirous of grabbing others wealth enter such battle ground that has such evil and terrifying appearance like a cremation ground..
