))))))))))))58 विशेष प्रकार की गन्ध को धारण करने वाला स्वर-'ग'। (४) मध्यम-नाभि से उठकर वक्ष और हृदय + से समाहत होकर पुनः नाभि में जाने वाला महानाद 'म'। शरीर के मध्य भाग से उत्पन्न होने के कारण + यह मध्यम स्वर कहा जाता है। (५) पंचम-नाभि. वक्ष, हृदय, कण्ठ और शिर इन पाँच स्थानों से उत्पन्न ॐ होने वाला स्वर-'प'। (६) धैवत-पूर्वोक्त सभी स्वरों का अनुसन्धान करने वाला या उनके पीछे दौड़ने 卐 वाला-'ध' । (७) निषाद-सभी स्वरों को समाहित करने वाला स्वर-'नी'।
Elaboration—(1) Shadj (Sa)—this note is produced by the combined
ivity of six parts of the human body, i.e. nose, throat, chest, palate, tongue, and teeth. (2) Rishabh (Re)-This note resembles the roaring of a bull (rishabh) and is produced by the wind rising from the navel and striking the upper part of the throat. (3) Gandhar (Ga)-It is produced
by wind which rises from the navel and strikes at the heart and the 555 4 throat. This note is so called because it is the carrier of fragrance
(4) Madhyam (Ma)-A loud note rising from the navel striking at the chest and heart and reflecting back to the navel. As it originates from
the middle part of the body it is called madhyam (middle). (5) Pancham 4 (Pa)-This note is produced with the involvement of five parts of the
body, namely navel, chest, heart, throat and head. (6) Dhaivat (Dha)This note follows or chases all other notes. (7) Nishad (Ni)—This note envelops all other notes. स्वरोत्त्पत्तिस्थान SVAROTPATTISTHAAN
(POINTS OF ORIGIN OF MUSICAL NOTES) ४०. एएसि णं सत्तण्हं सराणं सत्त सरट्ठाणा पण्णत्ता, तं जहा
सज्जं तु अग्गजिब्भाए, उरेण रिसभं सरं। कंटुग्गतेण गंधारं मज्झजिभाए मज्झिमं ॥१॥ णासाए पंचमं बूया, दंतोद्वेण य धेवतं।
मुद्धाणेण च णेसादं, सरढाणा वियाहिता॥२॥ ४०. इन सात स्वरों के सात (उच्चारण स्थान) स्वर-स्थान हैं-(१) षड्ज का, जिह्वा का अग्रभाग। (२) ऋषभ का, उरस्थल। (३) गान्धार का, कण्ठ। (४) मध्यम का, जिह्वा का मध्य भाग। (५) पंचम # का, नाक। (६) धैवत का, दन्त-ओष्ठ का संयोग। (७) निषाद का, शिर।
