१९६-२०२. चत्तारि पुरिसजाया पण्णत्ता, तं जहा-(३) दीणे णाममेगे दीणरूवे (१९६)। एवं (४) दीणमणे (१९७)। (५) दीणसंकप्पे (१९८), (६) दीणपन्ने (१९९), (७) दीणदिट्ठी (२००), (८) दीणसीलायारे (२०१), (९) दीणववहारे (२०२)।
१९६-२०२. पुरुष चार प्रकार के होते हैं-(३) दीन होकर दीन रूप वाला (चार भंग) (१९६)। इसी प्रकार (४) दीन मन वाला (१९७), (५) दीन संकल्प वाला (१९८), (६) दीन प्रज्ञा वाला 5 (१९९), (७) दीन दृष्टि (विचारधारा) वाला (२००), (८) दीन शीलाचार वाला (२०१), (९) दीन व्यवहार वाला (२०२) । (सबके भी चार-चार भंग जानने चाहिए)
196-202. Men are of four kinds-(iii) (1) Some man is deen (poor) and deen rupa (poor in appearance or practice) as well (four aforesaid 4 alternatives) (196). In the same way (iv) deen man (poor in mind) (197), (v) deen sankalp (poor in resolve) (198), (vi) deen prajna (poor in wisdom) (199), (vii) deen drishti (poor in perception/faith) (200). (viii) deen sheelachaar (poor in character and conduct) (201), and (ix) deen vyavahar (poor in behaviour) (202) (read four aforesaid alternatives in each case) ।
२०३. चत्तारि पुरिसजाया पण्णत्ता, तं जहा-(१०) दीणे णाममेगे दीणपरक्कमे, दीणे णाममेगे अदीण परक्कमे। एवं सब्वेसिं चउभंगो भाणियब्वो।
२०३. चार प्रकार के पुरुष होते हैं-(१०) दीन होकर दीन पराक्रम वाला, कोई दीन होकर अदीन पराक्रम वाला। इसी प्रकार सभी पदों के चार-चार भंग समझने चाहिए।
203. Men are of four kiuds—(x) (1) Some man is deen (poor) and deen parakram (poor in endeavour). (2) Some man is poor but adeen + parakram (non-poor in endeavour). (consider four aforesaid alternatives in each case)
२०४-२०७. चत्तारि पुरिसजाया पण्णत्ता, तं जहा-(११) दीणे णाममेगे दीणवित्ती (२०४)। एवं (१२) दीणजाई (२०५), (१३) दीणभासी (२०६), (१४) दीणोभासी (२०७)।
