विवेचन - उदर, वक्षःस्थल अथवा भुजाओं आदि के बल पर सरकने या चलने वाले जीव परिसर्प कहे
5 जाते हैं। इनकी मुख्य रूप से दो जातियाँ होती हैं- (१) उरः परिसर्प, और (२) भुजपरिसर्प । पेट और छाती के बल पर रेंगने या सरकने वाले साँप आदि उरः परिसर्प । भुजाओं के बल पर चलने वाले नेउले, गोह आदि भुजपरिसर्प कहलाते हैं। (विस्तार के लिए देखें हिन्दी टीका, पृष्ठ ३५८)

४८. तिविहाओ इत्थीओ पण्णत्ताओ, तं जहा - तिरिक्खजोणित्थीओ, मणुस्सित्थीओ देवित्थीओ। ४९. तिरिक्खजोणीओ इत्थीओ तिविहाओ पण्णत्ताओ, तं जहा- जलचरीओ थलचरीओ, खहचरीओ। ५०. मणुस्सित्थीओ तिविहाओ पण्णत्ताओ, तं जहा - कम्मभूमियाओ, 5 अकम्मभूमियाओ अंतरदीविगाओ।

Elaboration-Reptiles that slither on abdomen, breast and with the help of limbs are called parisarp. They are mainly of two types-ur-parisarp (non-limbed reptiles) and bhuj-parisarp (limbed reptiles). Those slithering on abdomen and without limbs are ur-parisarp (non-limbed reptiles, such as snakes) and those with limbs are bhuj-parisarp (limbed reptiles, such as mongoose and lizards ). ४८. स्त्रियाँ तीन प्रकार की हैं - (१) तिर्यग्योनिक स्त्री, (२) मनुष्य स्त्री, और (३) देव स्त्री ।
४९. तिर्यग्योनिक स्त्रियाँ तीन प्रकार की हैं - (१) जलचरी, (२) स्थलचरी, और (३) खेचरी (आकाश
में उड़ने वाली ) । ५०. मनुष्य स्त्रियाँ तीन प्रकार की हैं - ( 9 ) कर्मभूमिजा, (२) अकर्मभूमिजा, और (३) अन्तर्द्वीपजा (छप्पन अन्तद्वीपों में जन्म लेने वाले)।

48. Stree (females) are of three kinds – ( 1 ) tiryakyonik stree (female of 5 animal), (2) manushya stree (female of humans), and (3) deva stree 5 (female of divine beings ) 49. Tiryakyonik stree are of three kinds— (1) jalachari (aquatic ), ( 2 ) sthalachari (terrestrial), and ( 3 ) khechari ( avian). 50. Manushya stree are of three kinds – ( 1 ) karmabhumija फ फ ( belonging to the land of activity), (2) akarmabhumija (belonging to the land of non-activity), and (3) antardveepaja (belonging to middle islands).

५१. तिविहा पुरिसा पण्णत्ता, तं जहा - तिरिक्खजोणियपुरिसा, मणुस्सपुरिसा, देवपुरिसा । तिरिक्खजोणियपुरिसा तिविहा पण्णत्ता, तं जहा- जलचरा, थलचरा, खहचरा । ५३. मणुस्सपुरिसा तिविहा पण्णत्ता, तं जहा- कम्मभूमिया, अकम्मभूमिया, अंतरदीवगा । के हैं- (१) तिर्यग्योनिक पुरुष, (२) मनुष्य पुरुष, और (३) देव पुरुष । तिर्यग्योनिक पुरुष तीन प्रकार के हैं - (१) जलचर, (२) स्थलचर, और (३) खेचर | मनुष्य पुरुष तीन प्रकार के हैं - (१) कर्मभूमिज, (२) अकर्मभूमिज, और (३) अन्तर्द्वज ।
