म २७६. जम्बूद्वीप द्वीप में मन्दर पर्वत के दक्षिण में देवकुरु के पूर्व पार्श्व में सौमनस और पश्चिम पार्श्व में विद्युत्प्रभ नाम के दो वक्षार पर्वत हैं। वे अश्व-स्कन्ध के समान (आरम्भ में नीचे और अन्त में - ऊँचे) तथा अर्धचन्द्र के आकार वाले हैं। वे दोनों क्षेत्र प्रमाण की दृष्टि से सर्वथा सदृश हैं यावत् ॥ आयाम, विष्कम्भ आदि की अपेक्षा एक-दूसरे का अतिक्रमण नहीं करते हैं।

Dev Kuru and other named Vidyutprabh in the western side of Dev Kuru. They are like shoulders of a horse (low in the beginning and high in the end) and crescent shaped. These two mountains have exactly same size... and so on up to... In terms of length, breadth, height, depth, structure and circumference they do not overlap each other.
२७७. जंबुद्दीवे दीवे मंदरस्स पव्ययस्स उत्तरे णं उत्तरकुराए कुराए पुवावरे पासे, एत्थ णं आसक्खंधग-सरिसा अद्धचंद-संठाण-संठिया दो वक्खारपव्वया पण्णत्ता-बहुसमतुल्ला जाव तं है जहा-गंधमायणे चेव, मालवंते चेव।
२७७. जम्बूद्वीप द्वीप में मन्दर पर्वत के उत्तर में स्थित उत्तरकुरु के पूर्व पार्श्व में गन्धमादन और पश्चिम पार्श्व में माल्यवंत नाम के दो वक्षार पर्वत हैं। वे घोड़े के कंधे के समान तथा अर्धचन्द्र के आकार वाले हैं। दोनों ही क्षेत्र-प्रमाण आदि की दृष्टि से सर्वथा सदृश हैं यावत् एक-दूसरे के सर्वथा समान हैं।

२७८. जम्बूद्वीप द्वीप में मन्दर पर्वत से उत्तर और दक्षिण में दो दीर्घ (लम्बे) वैताढ्य पर्वत हैं। ये म क्षेत्र-प्रमाण आदि की दृष्टि से सर्वथा समान हैं। उनमें से एक दीर्घ वैताढ्य भरत क्षेत्र में है और दूसरा मदीर्घ वैताढ्य ऐरवत क्षेत्र में है। 5 278.
