卐 उन पर महान् ऋद्धि वाले यावत् एक पल्योपम की स्थिति वाले दो देव रहते हैं-दक्षिण दिशा में स्थित फ्र शब्दापाती वृत्त वैताढ्य पर स्वातिदेव और उत्तर दिशा में स्थित विकटापाती वृत्त वैताढ्य पर प्रभासदेव । 274. In Jambu continent there are two Vritta (circular) Vaitadhya mountains; one towards south of Mandar Mountain in Haimavat area and the other towards north of Mandar mountain in Hairanyavat area. These two have the same size. In terms of time cycle or weather cycle there is hardly any difference. In terms of circumference and other physical parameters also they are identical.
On these reside two gods having great wealth, ... and so on up to... life 5 span of one Palyopam (a metaphoric unit of time)-Swati Dev resides on the Shabdapati Vritta Vaitadhya in the south and Prabhas on the Vikatapati Vritta Vaitadhya in the north.

२७५. जंबुद्दीवे दीवे मंदरस्स पव्वयस्स उत्तर - दाहिणे णं हरिवास - रम्मएसु वासेसु दो

5 वट्टवेयड्डपव्वया पण्णत्ता - बहुसमतुल्ला जाव तं जहा - गंधावाती चेव, मालवंतपरियाए चेव । तत्थ णं दो देवा महिड्डिया जाव पलिओवमट्टितीया परिवसंति, तं जहा - अरुणे चेव, पउमे चेव । २७५. जम्बूद्वीप द्वीप में मन्दर पर्वत के दक्षिण में, हरिवास क्षेत्र में गन्धापाती और उत्तर में
रम्यकवास क्षेत्र में माल्यवान् पर्याय नामक दो वृत्त (गोल आकार वाले) वैताढ्य पर्वत हैं। दोनों क्षेत्रप्रमाण की दृष्टि से सर्वथा सदृश हैं यावत् सभी दृष्टियों में एक-दूसरे के समान हैं।
उन पर महान् ऋद्धि वाले यावत् एक पल्योपम की स्थिति वाले दो देव रहते हैं - गन्धापाती पर अरुणदेव और माल्यवान् पर्याय पर पद्मदेव ।
