174. Asur Kumar and Bhavan - pati gods while reincarnating go to and come from two genuses (humans and five sensed animals). Ending the infernal state they are born as humans or five sensed animals. Same is true for all divine beings.
विवेचन - यहाँ विशेष ज्ञातव्य है कि मनुष्य और संज्ञी पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यंच ही मरकर देवों में उत्पन्न होते हैं, किन्तु भवनवासी, व्यन्तर और ज्योतिष्क तथा ईशानकल्प तक के देव, देव भव पूर्ण कर मनुष्य और पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यंचों के सिवाय एकेन्द्रिय पृथ्वी, जल और वनस्पतिकाय में भी उत्पन्न होते हैं।
Elaboration-It should be noted that only human beings and five sensed animals can reincarnate as divine beings. However, at the end of their divine life span gods of Bhavanvasi (abode dwelling), Vyantar (interstitial), Jyotishk (stellar) and others up to Ishan Kalp (divine dimension) can also take birth as one sensed beings of earth-bodied, water-bodied and plant-bodied classes.
१७५. पुढविकाइया दुगतिया दुयागतिया पण्णत्ता, तं जहा - पुढविकाइए पुढविकाइए उववज्जमाणे पुढविकाइएहिंतो वा णो- पुढविकाइएहिंतो वा उववज्जेज्जा से चेव णं से पुढविकाइए पुढविकाइयत्तं विप्पजहमाणे पुढविकाइयत्ताए वा णो पुढविकाइयत्ताए वा गच्छेज्जा । १७६. एवं जाव मणुस्सा ।
१७५. पृथ्वीकायिक जीवों की दो गति और दो आगति होती हैं। पृथ्वीकाय में उत्पन्न होने वाला पृथ्वीकायिकों से अथवा अन्य योनियों से आकर उत्पन्न होता है। पृथ्वीकायिक जीव पृथ्वीकायिक अवस्था को छोड़ता हुआ पृथ्वीकायिक में अथवा अन्य अप्कायिकादि में जाता है । १७६. इसी प्रकार अकाय से लेकर मनुष्य तक सभी दण्डक वाले जीव अपने-अपने काय से अथवा अन्य कायों से आकर उस काय में उत्पन्न होते हैं और वे अपनी-अपनी अवस्था छोड़कर अपने-अपने उसी काय में अथवा अन्य कायों में जाते हैं ।
175. Prithvikayiks (earth-bodied beings) have two kinds of gatis (reincarnation to) and two aagatis (reincarnation from). A being taking birth as an earth-bodied being reincarnates from earth-bodied genus or any of the other genuses. A being leaving the state of an earth-bodied being reincarnates to earth-bodied genus or non-earth-bodied genuses. 176. In the same way beings of all dandaks (places of suffering) from the apkaya (water-bodied beings) class to human beings taking birth as beings of a specific genus reincarnate from their own specific genus or any of the other genuses and beings leaving a specific genus reincarnate to that specific genus or any of the other genuses.
