21. [Q.] Relative to the gross physical body (audarik sharira) of 5 another being, how many activities many infernal beings are capable of getting involved in? फ

[Ans.] What has been stated with regard to the first group (aphorisms 15-17) should also be repeated for this group up to Vaimanik divine
beings. However, the statement for human beings should follow the 5
pattern of the general statement (aughik) about living beings (aphorism 18).
२२. [ प्र. ] जीवाणं भंते ! ओरालियसरीरेहिंतो कतिकिरिया ?
[ उ.] गोयमा ! तिकिरिया वि, चउकिरिया वि, पंचकिरिया वि, अकिरिया वि।
२२. [ प्र. ] भगवन् ! बहुत-से जीव, दूसरे जीवों के औदारिक शरीरों की अपेक्षा कितनी क्रिया वाले होते हैं ?
[ उ. ] गौतम ! वे कदाचित् तीन क्रिया वाले, कदाचित् चार क्रिया वाले और कदाचित् पाँच क्रिया वाले और कदाचित् अक्रिय भी होते हैं।
22. [Q.] Relative to the gross physical bodies (audarik sharira) of other beings, how many activities many living beings are capable of getting involved in ?
[Ans.] Gautam ! They are capable of getting involved sometimes in three activities, sometimes in four, sometimes in five and sometimes in no activity at all.
२३. [ प्र. ] नेरइया णं भंते ! ओरालियसरीरेहिंतो कतिकिरिया ?
[ उ. ] गोयमा ! तिकिरिया वि, चउकिरिया वि, पंचकिरिया वि।
२३. [ प्र. ] भगवन् ! बहुत-से नैरयिक जीव, दूसरे जीवों के औदारिक शरीरों की अपेक्षा कितनी क्रिया वाले होते हैं ?
[ उ. ] गौतम ! वे तीन क्रिया वाले भी, चार क्रिया वाले भी और पाँच क्रिया वाले भी होते हैं।

२४. एवं जाव वेमाणिया, नवरं मणुस्सा जहा जीवा (सु. २२) ।
२४. इसी तरह यावत् वैमानिक - पर्यन्त समझना चाहिए। विशेष इतना ही है कि मनुष्यों का कथन फ औधिक जीवों की तरह (सू. २२ में कहे अनुसार) जानना चाहिए।
