देवलोकों के चार प्रकार FOUR KINDS OF DIVINE REALMS
१२. [प्र. ] कइविहा णं भंते ! देवलोगा पण्णत्ता ? [ उ. ] गोयमा ! चउव्विहा देवलोगा पण्णत्ता, तं जहा- भवणवासि-वाणमंतर-जोइस-वेमाणिया। सेवं भंते ! सेवं भंते ! त्ति०।
॥ अट्ठमसए : पंचमो उद्देसओ समत्तो ॥ १२. [प्र. ] भगवन् ! देवलोक कितने प्रकार के हैं ? [उ. ] गौतम ! देवलोक चार प्रकार के हैं। यथा-भवनवासी, वाणव्यन्तर, ज्योतिषी और वैमानिक।
हे भगवन् ! यह इसी प्रकार है, भगवन् ! यह इसी प्रकार है; यों कहकर गौतम स्वामी यावत् विचरते हैं।
॥ अष्टम शतक : पंचम उद्देशक समाप्त ॥ 12. (Q.) Bhante ! How many types of divine realms are there?
[Ans.] Gautam ! There are four types of divine realms-Bhavan-vaasi (abode dwelling), Vanavyantar (interstitial), Jyotishk (stellar) and Vaimanik (celestial-vehicular).
"Bhante ! Indeed that is so. Indeed that is so." With these words... and so on up to... ascetic Gautam resumed his activities.
