अपने आयुष्य की स्थिति अभी अधिक क्षय नहीं की। इस कारण पूर्वोक्त कृष्णलेश्यी नैरयिक की अपेक्षा इस
नीललेश्यी के कर्म अभी बहुत बाकी हैं। इस दृष्टि से नीललेश्यी कृष्णलेश्यी की अपेक्षा महाकर्म वाला है।
कोई नीललेश्यी नैरयिक दस सागरोपम की स्थिति से पंचम नरक में अभी तत्काल उत्पन्न हुआ है, उसने

Elaboration-The meaning of comparative statement-Generally a black soul-complexioned being is with much karmas and blue complexioned one is comparatively with less karmas. But in context the remaining life-span a black soul-complexioned being can be with less karmas and blue complexioned one can be with much karmas.
For
example a black soul-complexioned infernal being in the seventh hell,
when completes a larger part of his life-span he has shed a larger portion
not yet started completing his life-span and shedding his karmas. The
blue
soul-complexioned infernal being is left with much karmas as compared with black soul-complexioned infernal being who is left with less karmas. The aforesaid statements have been made from this angle.
वेदना और निर्जरा SUFFERING AND SHEDDING
१०. [ प्र. १ ] से नूणं भंते ! जा वेदणा सा निज्जरा ? जा निज्जरा सा वेदणा ?
[उ. ] गोयमा ! णो इणट्टे समट्टे ।

[उ. ] गौतम ! यह अर्थ उपयुक्त नहीं है।
10. [1] [Q.] Bhante ! In reality can suffering or experiencing (vedana)
be called shedding (nirjara) and can shedding (nirjara) be called suffering (vedana ) ?
[Ans.] Gautam ! That is not correct.

फ्र सकती और जो निर्जरा है, वह वेदना नहीं कही जा सकती ?
[प्र. २ ] से केणट्टेणं भंते! एवं बुच्चइ 'जा वेयणा न सा निज्जरा, जा निज्जरा न सा वेयणा' ?
[उ. ] गोयमा ! कम्मं वेदणा, गोकम्मं निज्जरा। से तेणट्टेणं गोयमा ! जाव न सा वेदणा ।
[प्र. २ ] भगवन् ! ऐसा किस कारण से कहा जाता है कि जो वेदना है, वह निर्जरा नहीं कही जा
