[प्र. २ ] भगवन् ! क्या वह (मेघ संस्वेदन-सम्मूर्छन-वर्षण) देव करता है, असुर करता है या नाग करता है?
[उ. ] हाँ, गौतम ! (ऐसा) देव भी करता है, असुर भी करता है और नाग भी करता है। 6. IQ.] Bhante ! Are there houses or shops (grihapan) in Tamaskaaya [Ans.] Gautam ! It is not so.
7. [Q.] Bhante ! Are there villages... and so on up to... sannivesh (temporary settlement) in Tamaskaaya ?
[Ans.] Gautam ! It is not so.
8. [Q. 1] Bhante ! In Tamaskaaya do great clouds accumulate moisture, form into rain-clouds and cause shower ?
[Ans.) Yes, Gautam ! It is so.
[Q.2] Bhante ! Is it (aforesaid activities of clouds) done by a Dev, Asur or Naag (classes of divine beings)?
(Ans.) Yes, Gautam ! It is done by a Dev, Asur as well as a Naag. ९.[प्र. १ ] अस्थि णं भंते ! तमुक्काए बादरे थणियसदे, बायरे विज्जुए ? [उ. ] हंता, अत्थि। [प्र. २ ] तं भंते ! किं देवो पकरेति ३? [उ. ] तिण्णि वि पकरेंति।
९. [प्र. १] भगवन् ! तमस्काय में क्या बादर स्तनित शब्द (स्थूल मेघगर्जन) है, क्या बादर विद्युत् है ?
[उ. ] हाँ, गौतम ! है। [प्र. २ ] भगवन् ! क्या उसे देव करता है, असुर करता है या नाग करता है? [उ. ] गौतम ! तीनों ही करते हैं।
9. [Q. 1] Bhante ! In Tamaskaaya is there loud thundering sound (of clouds) and gross (bright) lightening?
[Ans.) Yes, Gautam ! It is so. [Q.2] Bhante ! Is it produced by a Dev, Asur or Naag ? [Ans.] Yes, Gautam ! It is done by all three. १०. [प्र. ] अस्थि णं भंते ! तमुक्का बायरे पुढविकाए, बायरे अगणिकाए ?
