[3] A paramanu-pudgal touches an aggregate of three pradeshas 5

5 (paramanu-pudgal) according to either of the last three alternatives (from among the aforesaid nine alternatives). [ Which means— (7) one section by all sections, ( 8 ) many sections by all sections and (9) all sections by all sections.]

[4] As has been stated about a paramanu-pudgal touching an aggregate of three pradeshas (paramanu-pudgal) should be repeated for touching of aggregates of four, five... and so on up to... countable, innumerable and infinite numbers of ultimate particles. (In other words a paramanu-pudgal touches an aggregate of up to infinite pradeshas according to either of the aforesaid three alternatives.)
१२. [प्र.१ ] दुपदेसिए णं भंते ! खंधे परमाणुपोग्गलं पुसमाणे० पुच्छा ?
[उ.] ततिय- नवमेहिं फुसति ।
[ २ ] दुपएसिओ दुपदेसियं फुसमाणो पढम - तइय-सत्तम - णवमेहिं फुसति ।
[ ३ ] दुपएसिओ तिपदेसियं फुसमाणो आइल्लएहि य पच्छिल्लएहि य तिहिं फुसति, मज्झिमहिं तिहिं वि पडिसेहेयव्वं ।
[ ४ ] दुपदेसिओ जहा तिपदेसियं फुसाविओ एवं फुसावेयव्वो जाव अणंतपदेसियं ।
१२. [ प्र. १ ] भगवन् ! द्विप्रदेशी स्कन्ध परमाणुपुद्गल को स्पर्श करता हुआ किस प्रकार स्पर्श करता है ?
[उ. ] (हे गौतम! द्विप्रदेशी स्कन्ध परमाणुपुद्गल को ) तीसरे और नौवे विकल्प से ( अर्थात्एकदेश से सर्व को, तथा सर्व से सर्व को) स्पर्श करता है।
[ २ ] द्विप्रदेशी स्कन्ध, द्विप्रदेशी स्कन्ध को स्पर्श करता हुआ, पहले, तीसरे, सातवें और नौवें विकल्प से स्पर्श करता है।
[ ३ ] द्विप्रदेशी स्कन्ध, त्रिप्रदेशी स्कन्ध को स्पर्श करता हुआ आदिम तीन (प्रथम, द्वितीय और तृतीय) तथा अन्तिम तीन (सप्तम, अष्टम और नवम ) विकल्पों से स्पर्श करता है। इसमें बीच के तीन (चतुर्थ, पंचम और षष्ठ) विकल्पों को छोड़ देना चाहिए।
[४] जिस प्रकार द्विप्रदेशी स्कन्ध द्वारा त्रिप्रदेशी स्कन्ध के स्पर्श आलापक कहा गया है, उसी प्रकार द्विप्रदेशी स्कन्ध द्वारा चतुष्प्रदेशी स्कन्ध, पंचप्रदेशी स्कन्ध यावत् अनन्तप्रदेशी स्कन्ध के स्पर्श का आलापक कहना चाहिए।
