[Q. 2] Bhante ! Can the aggregate of infinite paramanu-pudgals (ultimate particles of matter) accommodated on that edge get cut into two or more pieces (by that edge) ?
[Ans.] Gautam! Some aggregate of infinite paramanu-pudgals (ultimate particles of matter) gets cut into two or more pieces and some does not.
६. एवं अगणिकायस्स मज्झमज्झेणं । तहिं णवरं 'झियाएज्जा' भाणियव्वं ।
७. एवं पुक्खलसंवट्टगस्स महामेहस्स मज्झंमज्झेणं । तर्हि 'उल्ले सिया' ।
६. जिस प्रकार छेदन - भेदन के विषय में प्रश्नोत्तर किए हैं, उसी तरह से 'अग्निकाय के बीच में प्रवेश करता है' - इसी प्रकार के प्रश्नोत्तर एक परमाणुपुद्गल से लेकर अनन्तप्रदेशी स्कन्ध तक के कहने चाहिए। किन्तु अन्तर इतना ही है कि जहाँ उस पाठ में सम्भावित छेदन-भेदन का कथन किया गया है, वहाँ इस पाठ में 'जलता है' इस प्रकार कहना चाहिए।
७. इसी प्रकार "पुष्कर - संवर्त्तक नामक महामेघ के मध्य में (बीचोंबीच ) प्रवेश करता है" इस प्रकार के प्रश्नोत्तर (एक परमाणुपुद्गल से लेकर अनन्तप्रदेशी स्कन्ध तक के ) कहने चाहिए। किन्तु वहाँ सम्भावित छिन्न-भिन्न होता है' के स्थान पर यहाँ 'गीला होता या भीग जाता है', कहना चाहिए।
6. Like the questions and answers about chhedan-bhedan (cut and disintegrate) questions and answers with regard to a single ultimate particle of matter... and so on up to... aggregate of infinite ultimate particles 'entering a fire-body' should be stated. The difference being that 'burn' should be mentioned in place of options of 'cut and disintegrate'.
7. In the same way questions and answers with regard to a single ultimate particle of matter... and so on up to... aggregate of infinite ultimate particles 'entering the great cloud called Pushkar-samvartak' should be stated. The difference being that 'gets wet' should be mentioned in place of options of 'cut and disintegrate'.
८. एवं गंगाए महाणदीए पडिसोयं हव्वमागच्छेज्जा । तहिं विणिघायमावज्जेज्जा, उदगावत्तं वा उदगबिदुं वा ओगाहेज्जा, से णं तत्थ परियावज्जेज्जा ।
८. इसी प्रकार "गंगा महानदी के प्रतिस्रोत (विपरीत प्रवाह) में वह परमाणुपुद्गल आता है और प्रतिस्खलित होता है।' इस तरह के तथा 'उदकावर्त्त या उदकबिन्दु में प्रवेश करता है, और वहाँ वह ( परमाणु आदि) विनष्ट होता है' (इस तरह के प्रश्नोत्तर पर परमाणुपुद्गल से लेकर अनन्तप्रदेशी स्कन्ध तक के कहने चाहिए।)
