१६. [१] आधाकर्म अनवद्य (निर्दोष) है, इस प्रकार जो साधु बहुत-से मनुष्यों के बीच में कहकर, स्वयं ही उस आधाकर्म-आहारादि का सेवन (उपभोग) करता है, यदि वह उस स्थान की आलोचना एवं प्रतिक्रमण किये बिना ही काल कर जाता है तो उसके आराधना नहीं होती, यावत् यदि वह उस स्थान की आलोचना-प्रतिक्रमण करके काल करता है, तो उसके आराधना होती है। [२] आधाकर्म-सम्बन्धी इस प्रकार के दोनों आलापक के समान क्रीतकृत से लेकर राजपिण्डदोष तक पूर्वोक्त प्रकार से प्रत्येक के दो-दो आलापक समझ लेने चाहिए। .
१७. 'आधाकर्म अनवद्य है', इस प्रकार कहकर, जो साधु स्वयं परस्पर (भोजन करता है, तथा) दूसरे साधुओं को दिलाता है, किन्तु उस आधाकर्म दोषस्थान की आलोचना-प्रतिक्रमण किये बिना काल करता है तो उसके अनाराधना होती है, तथा आलोचनादि करके काल करता है तो उसके आराधना होती है। इसी प्रकार क्रीतकृत से लेकर राजपिण्ड तक पूर्ववत् यावत् अनाराधना एवं आराधना का कथन जान लेना चाहिए।

'आधाकर्म अनवद्य है', इस प्रकार जो साधु बहुत-से लोगों के बीच में प्ररूपणा (प्रज्ञापना) करता है, उसके भी यावत् आराधना नहीं होती, तथा वह यावत् जो आलोचना-प्रतिक्रमण करके काल करता है, उसके आराधना होती है। इसी प्रकार क्रीतकृत से लेकर यावत् राजपिण्ड तक पूर्वोक्त प्रकार से अनाराधना होती है, तथा यावत् आराधना होती है। _____16. [1] “Adhakarma (food specifically prepared for an ascetic) is faultless", if an ascetic who so declares in a large gathering and consumes such food, and if he dies without censuring and doing critical review (pratikraman), he is said to have not accomplished spiritual worship (aradhana)... and so on up to... If he dies after duly censuring and doing critical review (pratikraman), he is said to have accomplished spiritual worship (aradhana).
