वह भी मनोद्रव्य का ग्राहक होता है, तो फिर जिस अवधिज्ञान का विषय सम्भिन्न लोकनाड़ी है, वह मनोद्रव्य का ग्राहक हो, इसमें सन्देह ही क्या ? इसलिए अनुत्तरविमानवासी देवों का मनोद्रव्यसामर्थ्य असीम है। पीछे बताया
केवली के ज्ञानात्मक भाव मन नहीं होता, किन्तु उपयोग रूप मानसिक प्रवत्ति होती है। केवली जब कछ कहना चाहते हैं. तब उनके आत्म-प्रदेशों का स्पन्दन होता है। उससे मनोद्रव्य व (मानसिक पुद्गल स्कन्धों) का ग्रहण होता है। उन पुद्गलों को अनुत्तर विमान के देव ग्रहण कर जान लेते हैं।
अनुत्तरौपपातिक देव उपशान्त मोह हैं-अनुत्तरौपपातिक देवों के वेदमोहनीय का उदय उत्कट नहीं होता, इसलिए वे उदीर्णमोह नहीं हैं; वे क्षीणमोह भी नहीं, क्योंकि उनमें क्षपक श्रेणी का अभाव है; किन्तु उनमें मैथुन का कथमपि सद्भाव न होने से तथा वेदमोहनीय अनुत्कट होने से वे 'उपशान्तमोह' कहे गये हैं। (वृत्ति, पत्रांक २२३)
Elaboration Infinite mental capacity of Anuttaraupapatik godsThe range of the avadhi-jnana of Anuttaraupapatik gods covers sambhinna-lokanaadi (slightly less than the central spine of the lok). The avadhi-jnana capable of knowing the central spine of the Lok involves infinite units of mental capacity. This is because even the avadhi-jnana capable of knowing countable fraction of Lok involves infinite mental capacity. Thus there can be no doubt that the avadhijnana capable of knowing the central spine of the Lok involves infinite units of mental capacity. That is why the mental capacity of gods dwelling in Anuttar vimaans is unlimited.
It has already been stated that Kevali does not have bhaava-man (psychological mind). He only has a tendency for mental activity. When a Kevali desires to utter something his soul-spacepoints vibrate. This creates vibrations in the mental or neuronic matter particles. The gods of Anuttar vimaans have the capacity to receive and understand these vibrations.
Upashant Moha-Anuttaraupapatik gods do not have enough intensity of fruition of experienceable attachment (vedamohaniya), therefore they are not with fruited attachment. They are also not with destroyed attachment because they are not on the path of destruction of karmas (kshapak shreni). As they are devoid of the sexual desires and intense attachment they are said to be with pacified attachment.
