कर्मता से देव देवलोकों में उत्पन्न होते हैं तथा संगिता के कारण देवता देवलोकों में उत्पन्न होते हैं । (निष्कर्ष 5 यह है कि) आर्यो ! पूर्वतप से, पूर्वसंयम से, कर्मिता और संगिता से देवता देवलोकों में उत्पन्न होते हैं। यही बात सत्य है; इसलिए उन्होंने कही है, किन्तु अपनी अहंता प्रदर्शित करने के लिए नहीं कही।
[Q 4] Gautam ! I too say, assert, elaborate and propagate that Gods
(Deus) are born in divine realms (Dev-loks) due to purva-tap, Gods (Devs) are born in divine realms (Dev-loks) due to purva-samyam, Gods 5 ( Devs) are born in divine realms ( Dev-loks) due to karmita and Gods 5 (Deus) are born in divine realms (Dev-loks) due to sangita. (The 5 conclusion is that) Noble ones ! Gods (Devs) are born in divine realms 5 (Dev-loks) due to purva-tap, purva-samyam, karmita and sangita. They have stated this because this is the truth and not in order to 5 demonstrate their ego. '

5 पर्युपासना का फल OUTCOME OF WORSHIP
२६. [ प्र. १ ] तहारूवं णं भंते ! समणं वा माहणं वा पज्जुवासमाणस्स किंफला पज्जुवासणा ?
[उ. ] गोयमा ! सवणफला ।
२६. [ प्र. १ ] भगवन् ! तथारूप - ( जैसा वेश है, तदनुरूप गुणों वाले) श्रमण या माहन की पर्युपासना करने वाले मनुष्य को उसकी पर्युपासना का क्या फल मिलता है ?
[उ. १ ] गौतम ! उसकी पर्युपासना का फल है - श्रवण । सत्-शास्त्र श्रवणरूप फल मिलता है।
26. [Q. 1] Bhante ! What is the fruit of paryupasana (worship) of a 卐 tatharupa Shraman-mahan (Jain ascetic as described in the scriptures; having virtues as per the garb) done by a layman?
[Ans.] "Long lived one! The fruit of his worship is shravan (listening to the sermon or scriptures).
[प्र. २] से णं भंते ! सवणे किंफले ?
[उ. ] णाणफले ।
[प्र. २ ] भगवन् ! उस श्रवण का क्या फल होता है ?
[उ. ] गौतम ! श्रवण का फल ज्ञान है।
[Q.
2] Bhante ! What is the fruit of shravan ?
[Ans.] The fruit of shravan is jnana (acquisition of knowledge).
३ ] से णं भंते ! नाणे किंफले ?

[उ. ] विण्णाणफले ।
