卐 [Ans.] Gautam ! They have innumerable counts. They are like this
minimum life-span, one Samaya more than the minimum, two Samaya
more than the minimum, ... and so on up to... maximum depending on 5 each specific abode.
३१. [प्र. ] असंखेज्जेसु णं भंते ! पुढविक्काइयावास सतसहस्सेसु एगमेगंसि पुढविक्काइयावासंसि जहन्नठितीए वट्टमाणा पुढविक्काइया किं कोधोवउत्ता, माणोवउत्ता, मायोवउत्ता, लोभोवउत्ता ?
[उ. ] गोयमा ! कोहोवउत्ता वि माणोवउत्ता वि मायोवउत्ता वि लोभोवउत्ता वि। एवं पुढविक्काइयाणं + सव्वेसु वि ठाणेसु अभंगयं। नवरं तेउलेस्साए असीति भंगा।
३१. [प्र.] भगवन् ! पृथ्वीकायिक जीवों के असंख्यात लाख आवासों में से एक-एक आवास में 卐 बसने वाले और जघन्य स्थिति वाले पृथ्वीकायिक क्या क्रोधोपयुक्त हैं, मानोपयुक्त हैं, मायोपयुक्त हैं या ॥
लोभोपयुक्त हैं। 9 [उ. ] गौतम ! वे क्रोधोपयुक्त भी हैं, मानोपयुक्त भी हैं, मायोपयुक्त भी हैं और लोभोपयुक्त भी हैं।
इस प्रकार पृथ्वीकायिकों के सब स्थानों में अभंगक हैं (पृथ्वीकायिकों की संख्या बहुत होने से उनमें * एक, बहुत आदि विकल्प-भंग नहीं होते। वे सभी स्थानों में बहुत हैं।) विशेष यह है कि तेजोलेश्या में अस्सी भंग कहने चाहिए।
10.1 Bhante ! Do the earth-bodied beings with minimum life-span living in each one of the innumerable hundred thousand abodes of earthbodied beings have inclination of anger (krodhopayukta), inclination of conceit (maanopayukta), inclination of deceit (maayopayukta) and inclination of greed (lobhopayukta)?
(Ans.) Gautam ! They have inclination of anger (krodhopayukta), si inclination of conceit (maanopayukta), inclination of deceit (maayopayukta) and inclination of greed (lobhopayukta). However, the aforesaid alternatives do not apply to earth-bodied beings (As the number of earth-bodied beings is very large there is no scope of fi alternatives such as one, two and many. They are numerous in every 46 regard.) the only difference is that eighty alternatives should be stated 1 with regard to leshya.
३२. [१] एवं आउक्काइया वि। [ २ ] तेउक्काइय-वाउक्काइयाणं सब्बेसु वि ठाणेसु अभंगयं। [ ३ ] वणप्फतिकाइया जहा पुढविक्काइया।
३२. [१] इसी प्रकार अप्काय के सम्बन्ध में भी जानना चाहिए। [ २ ] तेजस्काय और वायुकाय के सब स्थानों में अभंगक (भंगों का अभाव) है। [३] वनस्पतिकायिक जीवों के सम्बन्ध में ॐ पृथ्वीकायिकों के समान समझना चाहिए।
