[उ.] हाँ, गौतम ! जीव अपने आप से ही उसकी उदीरणा, गर्हा और संवर करता है।
10. [Q. 1] Bhante ! Does a being fructify (udirana) this (kanksha mohaniya karma ) himself ? Does he censure (garha) it himself ? And does he block the inflow himself?
[Ans.] Yes, Gautam ! A being fructifies (udirana), censures (garha) and blocks the inflow of this himself.
[प्र. २] जं तं भंते ! अप्पणा चेव उदीरेइ अप्पणा चेव गरहेइ, अप्पणा चेव संवरेइ तं उदिण्णं उदीरेs १ अणुदिण्णं उदीरेइ २ अणुदिण्णं उदीरणाभवियं कम्पं उदीरेइ ३ उदयानंतरपच्छाकडं कम्मं उदीरेइ ४ ?
[ उ. ] गोयमा ! नो उदिण्णं उदीरेइ १, नो अणुदिण्णं उदीरेइ २, अणुदिण्णं उदीरणाभवियं कम्मं उदीरेs ३, णो उदयानंतरपच्छाकडं कम्मं उदीरेइ ४ ।
[प्र. २ ] भगवन् ! जीव जो अपने आप से ही उसकी उदीरणा करता है, गर्हा करता है और संवर करता है, तो क्या उदीर्ण ( उदय में आये हुए) की उदीरणा करता है ? अनुदीर्ण की उदीरणा करता है ? या अनुदीर्ण उदीरणाभविक (उदय में नहीं आये हुए, किन्तु उदीरणा के योग्य) कर्म की उदीरणा करता है ? अथवा उदयानन्तर पश्चात्कृत कर्म की उदीरणा करता है ?
[उ.] गौतम ! उदीर्ण की उदीरणा नहीं करता, अनुदीर्ण की उदीरणा नहीं करता, उदयानन्तर पश्चात्कृत कर्म की भी उदीरणा नहीं करता, किन्तु अनुदीर्ण; उदीरणा- भविक कर्म की उदीरणा करता है।
[Q. 2] Bhante ! When a being fructifies (udirana), censures ( garha ) and blocks the inflow of this himself; does he fructify the karmas that have already reached fruition or matured (udirna)? Does he fructify those that have not matured (anudirna)? Does he fructify those that have not matured but tend to mature (udiranabhavik)? Or does he fructify those that have already been fructified and experienced (udayanantar pashchaatkrit) ?
[Ans.] Gautam ! He does not fructify the karmas that have already matured (udirna), he does not fructify those that have not matured (anudirna), he fructifies those that have not matured but tend to mature (udiranabhavik), and he does not fructify those that have already been fructified and experienced.
[प्र. ३ ] जं तं भंते ! अणुदिण्णं उदीरणाभवियं कम्पं उदीरेइ तं किं उट्ठाणेणं कम्मेणं बलेणं वीरिएणं पुरिसक्कारपरक्कमेणं अणुदिण्णं उदीरणाभवियं कम्पं उदीरेइ ? उदाहु तं अणुट्ठाणेणं अकम्पेणं अबलेणं अवीरिएणं अपुरिसक्कारपरक्कमेणं अणुदिण्णं उदीरणाभवियं कम्पं उदीरेइ ?
