कुब्जा, विद्याधरी, सुखावती भी सुन्दर हो गयीं तब रतिप्रभा आदि नौ कन्याओं ने यह सुन्दर बात कही कि अनुचरों ने जाकर प्रणाम करते हुए नगर के राजा से जाकर कहा॥७॥ हजारों विलासों से युक्त अदीनों के भावों का निग्रह करनेवाले सुन्दर प्रिय को हे मानवीय, हमें दिखाइए। यह विचार कर सुन्दरी ने चन्द्रमा के समान मुखवाले तथा रूप में कामदेव के समान गम्भीर रागऋद्धि का जो युवती बाला यहाँ रखी गयी है, जिसे उस कुब्जा ने हमें दिखाया है वह हंसगामिनी कन्या नहीं है। उपभोग करनेवाले उस राजा को धीरे-धीरे दिव्य-चिन्तन और रूप के विभ्रम को नष्ट कर, उस पुण्डरीकिणी अपितु श्रीपाल नाम का राजा है। तब युद्ध की इच्छा रखनेवाले अनेक वीर और प्रबल विद्याधर कुमार दौड़े। का राजा श्रीपाल बन्धुओं को दिखा दिया। उसे देखकर उनके मन में रति उत्पन्न हो गयी। कोई-कोई काम अपनी तलवारों और कनक तोपों से दिशाओं को आलोकित करनेवाले तथा युद्ध का बहाना चाहते हुए वे से पीड़ित होकर धरती पर गिर पड़ी, कोई नि:श्वास लेती सखी द्वारा देखी गयी। कोई शुक्र के पतन से भड़क उठे। लेकिन उस सुन्दर कुमार को देखकर वे वैसे ही शान्त हो गये जैसे जिन भगवान् को देखकर सखीजनों द्वारा लजायी गयी। किसी मूच्छित पर हिलते हुए चबरों से हवा की गयी।
भव्य लोग शान्त हो जाते हैं। उस समय विद्याधर राजा आया और बड़े स्नेह से उसने जंवाई को देखा। उसने घत्ता-इस प्रकार कन्या के अन्त:पुर को देखते हुए काम ने वर को खोटे मार्ग पर स्थापित कर दिया। समझ लिया कि ये परमेश्वर चक्रवर्ती हैं, विद्याधर राजा सन्तुष्ट हो गया।
