ललितांग देव की, अपनी द्युति से चन्द्र-प्रभा को जीतनेवाली मैं स्वयंप्रभा नाम की महादेवी हुई। प्रियतम के मरने पर छह माह जीवित रहकर और स्वर्ग से च्युत होकर इस समय यहाँ उत्पन्न हुई हूँ। प्रिय को स्मरण करते हुए मुझे चन्द्रमा सन्तप्त करता है। देह में लगा हुआ चन्दन अच्छा नहीं लगता। कामदेव आठों अंगों को जलाता है, इन्द्रिय के चिह्न से क्या तुम नहीं जानती ! यह कहकर उसने पट बुलवाया और स्वामी का चित्र बनाकर धाय को बताया। वहीं पर उसने अपना पुराना रूप चित्रित किया और चमकते हुए वस्त्र के भीतर रख दिया। दूसरी दूसरी क्रीड़ा-परम्पराओं, नदी-सरोवर और गिरिवर स्थानों को भी उसने लिखा । और भी उसने उसमें रति की रहस्य क्रीड़ाओं और धूर्तता के गूढ़ भयों को अंकित कर दिया। यहाँ रहती
हुई, यहाँ रमण करती हुई यह मैं हूँ और यह वह है। यह कहकर उसने कुछ भी गोपनीय नहीं रखा। सुन्दरी ने अपना दिल बता दिया।
यत्ता - पण्डिते ! तुम मेरा प्राणप्रिय ला दो, मेरी काम की व्याधि शान्त कर दो। नक्षत्रों की तरह उज्ज्वल और कोई दूसरी स्त्री मेरे समान मति में भारी नहीं है, तुम याद करो ॥ २१ ॥
इस प्रकार त्रेसठ महापुरुषों के गुणालंकारोंवाले इस महापुराण में महाकवि पुष्पदन्त द्वारा विरचित एवं महाभव्य भरत द्वारा अनुमत महाकाव्य में निर्नामिका धर्मलाभ नाम का बाईसवाँ अध्याय समाप्त हुआ ॥ २२ ॥
