वह सन्धि नहीं चाहता, युद्ध चाहता है। वह तुम्हें नहीं देखता, अपना भुजबल देखता है, आज्ञा का पालन घत्ता-वह परस्परा कुलक्रम गुरु द्वारा कथित क्षात्रधर्म नहीं समझता, मर्यादाविहीन सामर्ष वह शत्रु नहीं करता, अपने कौशल का पालन करता है; मान नहीं छोड़ता, भयरस छोड़ता है: दैव की चिन्ता नहीं अवश्य युद्ध करेगा'"॥२२॥ करता, वह अपने पौरुष की चिन्ता करता है; वह शान्ति नहीं चाहता, वह गृहकलह चाहता है। वह धरती नहीं देता, बाणावलि देता है। वह तुम्हें प्रणाम नहीं करता. मुनिसमूह को प्रणाम करता है। वह अंग नहीं निकालता, अपनी तलवार निकालता है: हे देव, भाई तुम्हें पोदनपुर नगर नहीं देता, परन्तु मैं जानता हूँ कि इतने में दिनमणि (सूर्य) खिसक गया, मानो गानरूपी कामिनी का चूडामणि हो, जैसे यामिनी ने शान्ति वह रण-भोजन देगा, वह रत्नों और गजरत्नों को उपहार में नहीं लेता वह मनुष्य वक्षों के रत्नों को लेगा। से शोभित उसे अस्ताचल के प्रति निवेदित किया हो।
