अधोलोक में स्थित नारकियों का हुंड शरीर होता है। मनुष्य और तिर्यंचों के छहों संस्थान होते हैं । भोगभूमियों का प्रथम अर्थात् समचतुरस्त्र संस्थान और विकलेन्द्रियों का अन्तिम अर्थात् हुंड संस्थान होता है । कुजक, बावनांग शुभ भूमि कूर्मोन्नत योनियों में अर्हन्त, केशव, राम और चक्रवर्ती आदि उत्पन्न होते हैं। और गर्भयोनि के

और विवृत योनियों में उत्पन्न होते हैं। देव नारकीय अचित्त योनि में होते हैं। गर्भ में निवास करनेवाले मिश्रित जीवों की आयु छह माह की होती है। सुनो, पंचेन्द्रियों की भी आयु बतायी गयी है। मत्स्य की एक पूर्व कोटी योनि भी ग्रहण करते हैं, किसी की उष्ण योनि होती है और किसी की शीतल। तैजसकायिक जीवों की उष्ण वर्ष आयु बतायी गयी है। कर्मभूमिज तियंचों की भी एक करोड़ पूर्व वर्ष आयु होती है। साँप जीवन की आशावाले योनि होती है, देवों और नारकियों की तीनों योनियाँ (उष्ण, शीत और मिश्र) होती हैं। शेष को तीन योनियाँ । बयालीस हजार वर्ष जीते हैं। पक्षी बहत्तर हजार वर्ष जीवित रहते हैं। मनुष्यों और तिर्यचों की जघन्य, मध्यम होती हैं। मन्थर गमन करनेवाली चन्द्रमुखी स्त्री रत्नों के शंखावर्तक योनि होती है।
और उत्कृष्ट आयु एक पल्य, दो पल्य, दो पल्य और तीन पल्य गिनी गयी है। क्षेत्र की अपेक्षा कहीं पंचेन्द्रिय यत्ता-संसार में अनेक जीव सम्पूर्ण शरीर ग्रहण नहीं कर पाते. अपने कर्म के वश से जो उत्पन्न होते तिर्यचों की यह उत्तम आयु है। मायावी ये कुपात्रदान और आर्तध्यान से भी होते हैं। हैं और मरकर चले जाते हैं ॥१॥
