शिल्पिभिः कारयित्वार्कविमानं मणिकाञ्चनैः । क्रोडीकृतजिनाधीशभवनं विततचति ॥ ५७ ॥ शास्त्रोक्तविधिना भक्तया पूजामाष्टाह्निकी व्यधात् । चतुर्मुखं रथावत सर्वतोभद्रमूर्जितम् ॥ ५८ ॥ कल्पवृक्षञ्च दीनेभ्यो दवदानमवारितम् । तद्विलोक्य जनाः सर्वे तत्प्रामाण्यात्स्वयश्च तत् ॥ ५९ ॥ स्तोतुमारेभिरे भक्तया मण्डलं चण्डरोचिषः । तदाप्रभृति लोकेऽस्मिन् बभूवार्कोपसेवनम् ॥१०॥ अथान्यदा किलानन्दं महीट शिरसि बुद्धवान् । पलितं दलयचौवनार्थिनां हृदयं द्विधा ॥ ६ ॥ तमिमित्तसमुद्रतनिर्वेगो ज्येष्ठसूनवे । साभिषेकं निजं राज्यं दत्वादास्पृहं तपः ॥ ६२॥ यतेः समुद्रगुप्तस्य समीपे बहुभिः समम् । राजभी राजसं भावं परित्यज्य सुलेश्यया ॥ ६३ ॥ साराधनाचतुष्कः सन्विशुद्ध्यैकादशाङ्गत् । प्रत्ययांस्तीर्थकृतानो भावयामास षोडश ॥ ६४ ॥ यथोक्तं भावयित्वैतानाम बद्ध्वान्तिमं शुभम् । चिरं घोरं तपः कृत्वा प्रान्ते शान्तान्तरात्मकः ॥६५॥ प्रायोपगमनं प्राप्य प्रतिमायोगमास्थितः । धीरः क्षीरवने धर्मध्यानाधीनो निराकुलः ॥ ६६ ॥ कमठः प्राक्तनः पापी प्रच्युतो नरकक्षितेः । कण्ठीरबत्वमासाद्य तन्मुनेः कण्ठमग्रहीत् ॥ ६७ ॥ सोढसिंहोपसर्गोऽसौ चतुराराधनाधनः । व्यसुरानतकल्पेशो विमाने प्राणतेऽभवत् ॥ ६८॥ तत्र विंशतिवाराशिविहितोपमजीवितः । सार्धारत्नित्रयोन्मेयशरीरः शुक्ललेश्यया ॥ ६९ ॥ दशमासान्तनिवासी मनसाऽमृतमाहरन् । खचतुष्कद्विवर्षान्ते मनसा स्त्रीप्रचारवान् ॥ ७० ॥
आपञ्चमक्षितिव्याप्ततृतीयावगमेक्षणः । स्वावधिक्षेत्रमानाभाविक्रियाबलसङ्गतः ॥ १॥ .. “सामानिकादिसर्वद्धिंसुधाशनसमचितः । कान्तकामप्रदानेकदेवीकृतसुधाकरः ॥ ७२ ॥ मुकुट झुकाकर सूर्यके विमानमें स्थित जिन-प्रतिमाओंकी स्तुति करने लगा। यही नहीं, उसने कारीगरोंके द्वारा मणि और सुवर्णका एक सूर्य-विमान भी बनवाया और उसके भीतर फैलती हुई कान्तिका धारक जिन-मन्दिर बनवाया। तदनन्तर उसने शास्त्रोक्त विधिसे भक्तिपूर्वक आष्टाह्निक पूर चतुर्मुख, रथावर्त, सबसे बड़ी सर्वतोभद्र और दीनोंके लिए मन-चाहा दान देनेवाली कल्पवृक्षपूजा की। इस प्रकार उस राजाको सूर्यकी पूजा करते देख उसकी प्रामाणिकतासे अन्य लोग भी स्वयं भक्तिपूर्वक सूर्य-मण्डलकी स्तुति करने लगे। आचार्य कहते हैं कि इस लोकमें उसी समयसे सूर्य की उपासना चल पड़ी है ॥ ५४-६०॥
अथानन्तर–किसी एक दिन राजा आनन्दने यौवन चाहनेवाले लोगोंके हृदयको दो टूक करनेवाला साद बाल अपने शिर पर देखा। इस निमित्तसे उसे वैराग्य उत्पन्न हो गया । विरक्त होते ही उसने बड़े पुत्रके लिए अभिषेक पूर्वक अपना राज्य दे दिया और समुद्रगुप्त मुनिराजके समीप राजसी भाव छोड़कर अनेक राजाओंके साथ निःस्पृह (निःस्वार्थ) तप धारण कर लिया। शुभ लेश्याके द्वारा उसने चारों आराधनाओंकी आराधनाकी विशुद्धता प्राप्त कर ग्यारह अङ्गोंका अध्ययन किया, तीर्थंकर नामकर्मके बन्धमें कारणभूत सोलह कारणभावनाओंका चिन्तवन किया, शास्त्रानुसार सोलह कारणभावनाओंका चिन्तवन कर तीर्थंकर नामक पुण्य प्रकृतिका बन्ध किया और चिरकाल तक घोर तपश्चरण किया। आयुके अन्तमें, जिसकी अन्तरात्मा अत्यन्त शान्त हो गई है,जो धीर वीर है, धर्मध्यानके अधीन है और आकुलतारहित है ऐसा वह आनन्द मुनि प्रायोपगमन संन्यास लेकर क्षीरवनमें प्रतिमा योगसे विराजमान हुआ ॥ ६१-६६ ॥ पूर्व जन्मके पापी कमठका जीव नरकसे निकलकर उसी वनमें सिंह हुआ था सो उसने आकर उन मुनिका कण्ठ पकड़ लिया ॥ ६७ ॥ इस प्रकार सिंहका उपसर्ग सहकर चार आराधना रूपी धनको धारण करनेवाला वह मुनि प्राणरहित हो अच्युत स्वर्गके प्राणत विमानमें इन्द्र हुआ ॥ ६८ ॥ वहाँपर उसकी बीस सागरकी आयु थी, साढ़े तीन हाथ ऊँचा शरीर था, शुक्ल लेश्या थी, वह दश माह बाद श्वास लेता था,और बीस हजार वर्ष बादमानसिक अमृताहार ग्रहण करता था। उसके मानसिक स्त्रीप्रवीचार था, पांचवीं पृथिवी तक अवधिज्ञानका विषय था,उतनी दूरी तकही उसकी कान्ति, विक्रिया और बल था, सब ऋद्धियों के धारक सामानिक आदि देव उसकी पूजा करते थे, और वह इच्छानुसार काम प्रदान करने वाली अनेक देवियोंके द्वारा उत्पादित सुखकी खान था। इस प्रकार समस्त विषय-भोग

There, he had a lifespan of twenty oceans, a body three and a half cubits tall, a white Leshya, he breathed after ten months, and he consumed mental ambrosia after twenty thousand years.
