अस्यैव तीर्थसन्ताने ब्रह्मणो धरणीशितुः । 'चूडादेव्याश्च संजज्ञे ब्रह्मदतो निधीशिनाम् ॥ २८७ द्वादशो नामतः सप्तचापः सप्तशताब्दकैः । परिच्छिन्नप्रमाणायुस्तदन्ताश्चक्रवर्तिनः ॥ २८८ ॥ इत्यार्षे भगवद्गुणभद्राचार्यप्रणीते त्रिषष्टिलक्षणमहापुराणसंग्रहे नेमितीर्थंकर- पद्मनामबलदेव-कृष्णनामार्धचक्रि- जरासन्धप्रतिवासुदेव-ब्रह्मदत्तसकलचक्रवर्तिपुराणं नाम द्विसप्ततितमं पर्व ॥ ७२ ॥
पहले नरक आयुका बन्ध कर लिया था और उसके बाद सम्यग्दर्शन तथा तीर्थंकर नाम-कर्म प्राप्त किया था इसीलिए उन्हें राज्यका भार धारण करनेके बाद नरक जाना पड़ा। आचार्य कहते हैं कि हे बुद्धिमान् जन ! यदि आप लोग सुखके अभिलाषी हैं तो पद-पदपर आयु बन्धके लिए अखण्ड प्रयत्न करो अर्थात प्रत्येक समय इस बातका बिचार रक्खो कि अशुभ आयुका बन्ध तो नहीं हो रहा है ।। २८६ | इन्हीं नेमिनाथ भगवान् के तीर्थमें ब्रह्मदत्त नामका बारहवाँ चक्रवर्ती हुआ था वह ब्रह्मा नामक राजा और चूड़ादेवी रानीका पुत्र था, उसका शरीर सात धनुष ऊँचा था और सात सौ वर्षकी उसकी आयु थी । वह सब चक्रवर्तियों में अन्तिम चक्रवर्ती था— उसके बाद कोई चक्रवर्ती नहीं हुआ || २८७-२८८ ॥
