एकोनषष्टितम पर्व तदा प्रभृति लोकेऽस्मिन् पूज्या कालाष्टमी बुधैः। तदेवालम्बनं कृत्वा मिथ्याग्भिश्च पूज्यते ॥ ५७ ॥ कृत्वाऽन्त्येष्टि तदाभ्येत्य सौधर्मप्रमुखाः सुराः । सिद्धस्तुतिभिरर्थ्याभिरवन्दिषत निर्वृतम् ॥ ५८ ॥
शार्दूलविक्रीडितम् सन्तत्या मलसश्चयः परिणतो हिंसादिभिः सन्तत
संसारे सुकृताचतो निजगुणा नेयुर्विशुद्धिं कचित् । तानचाहमवाप्याबुद्धिममलां शुद्धिं नयामीत्यर्य शुक्लध्यानमुपाश्रितोऽतिविमलस्तस्माद्यथार्थायः ॥ ५९ ॥
वसन्ततिलका श्रद्धानबोधरदर्न गुणपुण्यमूर्ति
माराधना चरणमायतधर्महस्तम् । सन्मार्गवारणमघारिमभिप्रचोद्य विश्वसनाद्विमलवाहनमाहुरेनम् ॥ ६॥
मालिनी विनिहतपरसेनः पद्यसेनो महीशः
सुरसमितिसमयः स्पष्टसौख्योऽष्टमेन्द्रः। विपुलविमलकीतिविश्वविश्वम्भरेशो
विमलजिनपतिः स्तात् सुष्टुतस्तुष्टये वः ॥६॥ स्तिमिततमसमाधिध्वस्तनिःशेषदोर्ष
___क्रमगमकरणान्तर्धानहीनावबोधम् । विमलममलमूर्ति कीर्तिभाज धुभाजां
नमत विमलताप्त्यै भक्तिभारेण भव्याः ॥ ६२॥ रोगी स्वास्थ्य (नीरोग अवस्था) प्राप्त करता है ॥५५-५६ ।। उसी समयसे ले कर लोकमें
आषाढ कृष्ण अष्टमी, कालाष्टमीके नामसे विद्वानोंके द्वारा पूज्य हो गई और इसी निमित्तको पाकर मिथ्या-दृष्टि लोग भी उसकी पूजा करने लगे ॥५७ ॥ उसी समय सौधर्म आदि देवोंने आकर उनका अन्त्येष्टि संस्कार किया और मुक्त हुए उन भगवान्की अर्थपूर्ण सिद्ध स्तुतियोंसे वन्दना की ॥५८॥
हिंसा आदि पापोंसे परिणत हुआ यह जीव निरन्तर मलका संचय करता रहता है और पुण्यके द्वारा भी इसी संसारमें निरन्तर विद्यमान रहता है अतः कहीं अपने गुणोंको विशुद्ध बनाना चाहिये-पाप पुण्यके विकल्पसे रहित बनाना चाहिये। आज मैं निर्मल बुद्धि-शुद्धोपयोगकी भावनाको प्राप्त कर अपने उन गुणोंको शुद्धि प्राप्त कराता हूँ-पुण्य-पापके विकल्पसे दूर हटाकर शुद्ध बनाता हूँ। ऐसा विचार कर ही जो शुक्लध्यानको प्राप्त हुए थे ऐसे विमलवाहन भगवान् अपने सार्थक नामको धारण करते थे ।। ५६ ॥ सम्यग्दर्शन और सम्यग्ज्ञान ही जिसके दो दाँत हैं; गुण ही जिसका पवित्र शरीर है, चार आराधनाएँ ही जिसके चरण हैं और विशाल धर्म ही जिसकी सैंड है ऐसे सन्मार्गरूपी हाथीको पाप-रूपी शत्रुके प्रति प्रेरित कर भगवान् विमलवाहनने पापरूपी शत्रुको नष्ट किया था इसलिए ही लोग उन्हें विमलवाहन (विमलं वाहनं यानं यस्य सः विमलवाहनः-निर्मल सवारीसे युक्त) कहते थे ॥६० ॥ जो पहले शत्रुओंकी सेनाको नष्ट करनेवाले पद्मसेन राजा हुए, फिर देव-समूहसे पूजनीय तथा स्पष्ट सुखोंसे युक्त अष्टम स्वर्गके इन्द्र हुए,
और तदनन्तर विशाल निर्मलकीर्तिके धारक एवं समस्त पृथिवीके स्वामी विमलवाहन जिनेन्द्र हुए, वे तेरहवें विमलनाथ तीर्थंकर अच्छी तरह आप लोगोंके संतोषके लिए हों ।। ६१॥ हे भव्य जीवो ! जिन्होंने अपनी अत्यन्त निश्चल समाधिके द्वारा समस्त दोषोंको नष्ट कर दिया है, जिनका

He, Vimalavahan, inspired this elephant to destroy the enemy of sin, and thus he is called Vimalavahan (one who possesses a pure vehicle).

He who was once the king Padma Sena, who destroyed the army of his enemies, then became the Indra of the eighth heaven, revered by the assembly of gods and filled with clear happiness. After that, he became Vimalavahan Jinendra, the holder of vast, pure fame and the lord of the entire earth. May the thirteenth Tirthankara, Vimalanatha, be well for your satisfaction.

**Verse 62:**

O noble beings! You who have destroyed all your faults through your unwavering meditation, whose understanding is free from the limitations of gradual progression, action, and disappearance, whose form is pure and spotless, and who are the recipients of fame and praise, bow down to the attainment of purity with devotion and reverence.
