512 Even the venerable Bhavyas have to experience existence, which is obtained from time. Time is beginningless and filled with inconceivable suffering. ________________ ५१२ महापुराणम् भव्यस्यापि भवोऽभवद् भवगतः कालादिलब्धेविना कालोऽनादिरचिन्त्यदुःखनिचितो धिक धिक स्थिति संसृतेः । इत्येतद्विदुषाऽत्र शोच्यमथवा तच्च यद्देहिनाम् भव्यत्वं बहुधा महोश सहजा वस्तुस्थितिस्तादशी ॥३८६॥ गतानि सम्बन्धशतानि जन्तोरनन्तकालं परिवर्तनेन नावे हि किं त्वं हि विबुद्धविश्वो वर्थव मुहये कि मिहेतरो वा ॥३८७॥ कर्मभिः कृतमस्यापि न स्थास्तु त्रिजगत्पतेः । शरीरादि ततस्त्याज्यं मन्वते तन्मनीषिणः ॥३८॥ प्रागक्षिगोचरः सम्प्रत्यष चेतसि वर्तते । भगवास्तत्र कः शोकः पश्यनं तत्र सर्वदा ॥३८६॥ इति मनसि यथार्थ चिन्तयन् शोकर्वाह्न शमय विमलबोधाम्भोभिरित्यावभाषे। गणभदथ स चक्री दावदग्धो महीधो _नवजलदजला तद्वचोभिः प्रशान्तः ॥३६०॥ चिन्तां व्यपास्य गुरुशोककृतां गणेशम् आनम्य नममुकटो निकटात्मबोधिः । निन्दनितान्तनितरां निजभोगतष्णां मोक्षोष्णक: स्वनगरं व्यविशद् विभूत्या ॥३६१ अभव्यकी तरह दुखी, निर्धन, कुमार्गमें प्रवृत्ति करनेवाला और रोगोंसे भयभीत होता हुआ इस संसाररूपी वनमें भ्रमण करता रहता है ।।३८५।। काल आदि लब्धियोंके बिना पूज्य भव्य जीवको भी संसारमें रहना पड़ता है, यह काल अनादि है तथा अचिन्त्य दुःखोंसे भरा हुआ है इसलिये संसारकी इस स्थितिको बार बार धिक्कार हो, यही सब समझ विद्वान् पुरुषको इस संसारमें शोक नहीं करना चाहिये अथवा जीवोंका यह भव्यत्वपना भी अनेक प्रकारका होता है । हे राजन्, वस्तुका सहज स्वभाव ही ऐसा है ॥३८६॥ हे भरत, तू तो संसारका स्वरूप जाननेवाला है, क्या तू यह नहीं जानता कि अनन्त कालसे परिवर्तन करते रहनेके कारण इस जीवके सैकड़ों सम्बन्ध हो चुके हैं ? फिर क्यों अज्ञानीकी तरह व्यर्थ ही मोहित होता है ॥३८७।। तीनों लोकोंके अधिपति भगवान् वृषभदेवका शरीर भी तो कर्मोंके द्वारा किया हुआ है इसलिये वह भी स्थायी नहीं है और इसलिये ही विद्वान् लोग उसे हेय समझते हैं ॥३८८॥ जो भगवान् पहले आंखोंसे दिखाई देते थे वे अब हृदयमें विद्यमान् हैं इसलिये इसमें शोक करनेकी क्या बात है ? तू उन्हें अपने चित्तमें सदा देखता रह ॥३८९।। इस प्रकार मनमें वस्तुके यथार्थ स्वरूपका चिन्तवन करता हुआ तू निर्मल ज्ञानरूपी जलसे शोकरूपी अग्नि शान्त कर, ऐसा गणधर वषभसेनने कहा तब चक्रवर्ती भी जिस प्रकार दावानलसे जला हआ पर्वत नवीन बादलोंके जलसे शान्त हो जाता है उसी प्रकार उनके वचनोंसे शान्त हो गया ॥३९०। जिसे आत्मज्ञान शीघ्र होनेवाला है और जिसका मुकुट नम्रभूत हो रहा है ऐसे भरतने पिताके शोकसे उत्पन्न हुई चिन्ता छोड़कर गणधरदेवको नमस्कार किया और अत्यन्त बढ़ी हुई अपनी भोगविषयक तृष्णाकी निन्दा करते हुए तथा मोक्षके लिये उत्सुक होते हुए उसने बड़े वैभवके साथ अपने नगरमें प्रवेश किया ॥३९१॥ १ संसारानुगतः । २ संसारे। ३ शोकविषयम् । ४ अन्य अज्ञ इवेत्यर्थः । ५ चेतसि । ६ मुक्त्युद्योगे दक्षः । 'दक्षे तु चतुरपेशलपटवः । सूत्थान उष्णश्च' इत्यभिधानात् शीघ्रकारी वर्गः । मोक्षोत्सुक: ल । Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
