जयन्ति विधुताशेषबन्धना धर्मनायकाः । त्वं धर्मविजयी भूत्वा तत्प्रसादाज्जयाखिलम् ॥६१॥ सन्त्यधिनिलया देवाः त्वद्भक्त्यन्तनिवासिनः। तान् विजेतुमय कालः तवेत्युच्चैर्जुघोष च ॥६२॥ ततः कतिपयैरेव नायकैः परिवारितः। जगतीतल मारक्ष गड गाद्वारस्य चक्रभूत् ॥६३॥ न केवल समुद्रान्सःप्रवेशद्वारमेव तत् । कार्यसिद्धरपि द्वार तदमस्त रथाङगभूत् ॥६४॥ धतमङगलवेषस्य तद्वद्यारोहण विभोः । विजयश्रीसमुद्वाहवेद्यारोहणवद् बभौ ॥६५॥ मद्गहाङगणवेदीयं जगतीति विकल्पयन । दृशं व्यापारयामास 'कुल्याबुद्ध्या महोदधौ ॥६६॥ स प्रतिज्ञामिवारूढो जगतीं तां महायतिम् । निस्तीर्णमिव तत्पार पारावारमजीगणत् ॥६७॥ मुहुः प्रचलदुद्वेलकल्लोलमनिलाहतम् । विलड्यनाभयादुच्चैः फूत्कुर्वन्तमिवारवैः ॥६॥ वीचिबाहुभिहन्मुक्तः सरत्नैः शीकरोत्करैः। पाद्यं स्वस्येव तन्वान मौक्तिकाक्षतमिश्रितैः ॥६६॥ प्रसङखयशङखमाकान्तविश्वद्वीपमपारकम् । परैरलडवचमक्षोभ्यं स्वबलौघानुकारिणम् ॥७०॥ उत्फेन जम्भिकारम्भैः सापस्मारमिवोल्बणम् । केनाप्यशक्यमाधर्तु क्वचिदप्यनवस्थितम् ॥७१॥
पवित्र आशीर्वाद देकर मंगलद्रव्य धारण किये हुए पुरोहितने इस नीचे लिखी हुई ऋचाको पढ़ा ।।६०।। समस्त कर्मबन्धनको नष्ट करनेवाले धर्मनायक-तीर्थकर देव सदा जयवन्त रहते हैं इसलिये उनके प्रसादसे तू भी धर्मपूर्वक विजय प्राप्त कर, सबको जीत ॥६१। उसी समय पुरोहितने यह भी जोरसे घोषणा की कि हे देव, इस समुद्र में निवास करनेवाले देव आपके उपभोग करने योग्य क्षेत्रके भीतर ही रहते हैं इसलिये उन्हें जीतनेके लिये आपका यह समय है ॥६२।। तदनन्तर कुछ वीर पुरुषोंसे घिरे हुए चक्रवर्ती भरत गङ्गाद्वारकी वेदीपर जा चढ़े ॥६३।। चक्रवर्तीने उस गङ्गाद्वारकी वेदीको केवल समुद्रके भीतर प्रवेश करनेका द्वार ही नहीं समझा था किन्तु अपने कार्यकी सिद्धि होनेका भी द्वार समझा था ।।६४।। मंगल वेषको धारण करनेवाले चक्रवर्तीका उस वेदीपर आरूढ होना विजय-लक्ष्मीके विवाहकी वेदीपर आरूढ होनेके समान बहुत ही अधिक सुशोभित हो रहा था ॥६५॥ यह वेदी मेरे घरके आंगनकी वेदी है इस प्रकार कल्पना करते हुए भरतने महासागरपर कृत्रिम नदीकी बुद्धिसे दृष्टि डाली थी। भावार्थ-भरतने अपने बलकी अधिकतासे गङ्गाकी वेदीको ऐसा समझा था मानो यह हमारे घरके आंगनकी ही वेदी है और महासमुद्रको ऐसा माना था मानो यह एक छोटी-सी नहर ही है ॥६६।। वे उस बड़ी लम्बी वेदीपर इस प्रकार आरूढ़ हुए थे जैसे अपनी प्रतिज्ञापर ही आरूढ़ हुए हों और समुद्रको उन्होंने ऐसा माना था जैसे उसके दूसरे किनारे पर ही पहुंच गये हो ॥६७।। उस वेदीपरसे उन्होंने समुद्र देखा, उस समुद्र में बारबार तटको उल्लंघन करनेवाली लहरें उठ रही थीं, पवन उसका ताड़न कर रहा था और वह अपने गंभीर शब्दोंसे ऐसा मालूम होता था मानो उल्लंघनके भयसे रो ही रहा हो। तरंगरूपी भुजाओंसे किनारेपर छोड़े हुए रत्न सहित जलके छोटे छोटे कणोंसे वह ऐसा जान पड़ता था मानो भरतके लिये मोती
और अक्षतोंसे मिला हुआ अर्घ ही दे रहा हो। उस समुद्र में असंख्यात शंख थे, उसने समस्त द्वीपोंको आक्रान्त कर लिया था, वह पाररहित था, उसका कोई उल्लंघन नहीं कर सकता था
और न उसे कोई क्षोभित ही कर पाता था इसलिये वह ठीक भरतकी सेनाके समूहका अनुकरण कर रहा था क्योंकि उसमें भी बजाये जानेवाले असंख्यात शंख थे, उसने भी समस्त द्वीप आक्रान्त कर लिये थे-अपने आधीन बना लिये थे, वह भी अपार था, वह भी दूसरोंके द्वारा अलंघनीय तथा क्षोभित करनेके अयोग्य था। वह समुद्र किसी अपस्मार (मृगी)

The Dharma Nayakas, who have destroyed all their karmic bonds, are always victorious. You, having become victorious in Dharma, will conquer all by their grace. ||61||

Then, surrounded by a few heroes, the Chakravarti Bharat ascended the Ganga-Dwaraka Vedi. ||63||
