What is desired becomes undesired, and what is undesired becomes desired. In this world, there is no fixed state of desired and undesired. ||198||
The man of today becomes a woman in the next birth, the woman becomes a eunuch, the eunuch becomes a woman, that woman again becomes a man, that man also becomes a eunuch, that eunuch again becomes a man or remains a eunuch. Thus, in this cycle, there is a crooked transition. ||199||
Therefore, contemplating the words spoken by the Jina, I will surely end this world, because I am now afraid of Yama, constantly wandering within the forest of the world. ||200||
These enjoyments of human beings are like the hood of a serpent, and those who enjoy are called enjoyers. Even though all this is so, none of those enjoyments are ours, this is certain. ||201||
That which is enjoyed is called enjoyment, or the act of enjoying is called enjoyment. Both types of enjoyment are also in hell, so why have affection for those enjoyments? ||202||
Just as medicine kindles the fire in the stomach, in the same way, these enjoyments kindle the fire of thirst. Therefore, for the sake of pacifying the fire of thirst, which has been kindled by these enjoyments, one should think of some other means. ||203||
Thus, the wise king Akampana, who vomited out the poison of thirst, quickly summoned the Hemaangada, and after worshipping the Supreme Beings, performed his coronation. Considering Lakshmi to be fickle, he bound her with a belt and made her steady, and handing over the Hemaangada to her, he went to the presence of Lord Vrishabhadeva, and along with many kings and queen Suprabha, took initiation, and by ascending the ranks in succession, attained omniscience. ||204-206||
Then, Jayakumar, filled with immense affection from another birth, drank the nectar of knowledge from the mouth of Sulochana, which was like the moon, the source of joy, with his eyes, which were like blooming blue lotuses. ||207||
The tradition is very painful. ||197||
