## Chapter 27: The Journey of King Bharata's Victory
**32**
When the commotion of the people in the kings' tents had subsided, and the horses, having drunk water, were grazing at their leisure in the pavilions made of cloth, and the elephants, having bathed in the lakes on the banks of the Ganges, were tethered in the forests, then the victorious army of King Bharata seemed as if it had been stationed there for a long time.

Just as the devotees worship the Jinas, who are adorned with great glory and seated in the Samavasarana assembly, so too did the kings of the eastern region, adorned with great wealth and seated in that pavilion, worship King Bharata, offering him their ancestral wealth, daughters, and other suitable gifts. Similarly, many other kings, restrained by his army, abandoned their pride and bowed their heads from afar, paying homage to the Chakravartin.

Thus ends the twenty-seventh chapter of the *Trishattilakshana Mahapurana*, composed by Bhagavan Jinaseanacharya, which describes the journey of King Bharata's victory over the kings.
