Mahapuraanam
Those who wield the Shakti weapon, along with those who carry staffs, those who wield spears, those who wield bows, and those who wield swords, all raced forward, competing with each other. || 111 || Those whose armor was slightly moving in the front due to running ahead, those warriors were going so fast as if they had grown wings and were flying. || 112 || "Go, run, move aside, don't block the path ahead!" The warriors shouted loudly, pushing aside those in front of them. || 113 || "Move aside from this group of horses, run away from this group of elephants, and run far away from these broken chariots!" || 114 || "Lift up the children from this crowd of people, and quickly move the horses away from the front of the elephants!" || 115 || "This wicked elephant is standing here blocking the path, and this chariot has overturned in the middle of the road due to the charioteer's mistake." || 116 || "Look, this camel, who has thrown off his load, has long lips and is very frightened, is running backwards on the path as if he wants to mock the people." || 117 || "Someone is holding the inner garment of the woman falling from the frightened mule on this high ground, but while doing so, he himself is falling." || 118 || "This young man, bewildered by seeing the face of a prostitute, has fallen due to the collision of horses, but he is a fool and still doesn't know that he has fallen." || 119 || "This old man, whose hair is dyed black with a special medicine to hide his gray hair, whose eyes are adorned with kohl, and who is following a prostitute, is behaving like a young man." || 120 || Thus, the soldiers, exhausted from the journey, reached their camp, which was set up like a city. || 121 ||
The soldiers, with their feet clad in shoes, were crossing over stumps, thorns, and stones, and were also moving quickly on horses and chariots. || 110 ||
