वृषभाय नमोऽशेषस्थितिप्रभवहेतवे । त्रिकालगोचरानन्तप्रमेयाक्रान्तमूर्तये ॥ १ ॥ नमः सकलकल्याणपथनिर्माणहेतवे । आदिदेवाय संसारसागरोत्तारसेतवे ॥२॥ जयन्ति जितमृत्यवो विपुलवीर्यभाजो जिना जगत्प्रमदहेतवो विपदमन्दकन्दच्छिदः ।। सुरासुरशिरस्फुरितरागरत्नावलीविलम्बिकिरणोत्करारुरिणतचारुपादद्वयाः ||३|| कृतिर्महाकवेर्भगवतः श्रीजिनसेनाचार्यस्येति ।
धर्मोत्र मुक्तिपदमत्र कवित्वमत्र तीर्थेशिनश्चरितमत्र महापुराणे । यद्वा कवीन्द्रजिनसेनमुखारविन्दनिर्यद्वचांसि न हरन्ति मनांसि केषाम् ॥४॥
इत्यार्षे भगवज्जिनसेनाचार्यप्रणीते महापुराणे आद्यं खण्डं समाप्तिमगमत् ॥
जो समस्त मर्यादाकी उत्पत्तिके कारण हैं और जिनकी केवलज्ञानरूपी मूर्ति त्रिकाल विषयक अनन्त पदार्थोंसे व्याप्त है उन वृषभदेवके लिये नमस्कार हो ॥ १ ॥ जो सब कल्याणों
मार्गकी रचनामें कारण हैं और जो संसाररूपी समुद्रसे पार करनेके लिये पुलके समान हैं ऐसे प्रथम तीर्थंकर भगवान् वृषभदेवको नमस्कार हो || २ || जिन्होंने मृत्युको जीत लिया है, जो अनन्त बलको धारण करनेवाले हैं। जो जगत् के आनन्दके कारण हैं, जो विपत्तियोंकी बहुत भारी जड़ को काटनेवाले हैं, और सुर तथा असुरोंके मस्तकपर चमकते हुए पद्मरागमणियों की पंक्ति से निकलती हुई किरणोंके समूहसे जिनके दोनों सुन्दर चरणकमल कुछ कुछ लाल हो रहे हैं ऐसे जिनेन्द्रदेव सदा जयवन्त हों ॥३॥
( इस प्रकार महाकवि भगवान् जिनसेनाचार्यकी कृति समाप्त हुई )
इस महापुराण में धर्मका निरूपण है, मोक्ष पद अथवा मोक्षमार्गका कथन है, उत्तम कविता है और तीर्थ कर भगवान्‌का चरित है अथवा इस प्रकार समझना चाहिये कि कवियों में श्रेष्ठ श्री जिनसेनके मुखकमलसे निकले हुए वचन किसके मनको हरण नहीं करते हैं ? ॥४॥
