## The Twenty-Fifth Chapter
**101.** The banks of the rivers, adorned with creepers that had shed their blossoms, were filled with the waves of water, like the breaths of a sleeping giant.
**102.** The king, filled with delight, beheld the beautiful creeper-arbors, their beds strewn with fallen flowers.
**103.** He saw Kinnaras, adorned with their own glory, seated on moonstone slabs within the creeper-arbors.
**104.** Seeing the swarms of bees lost in the blossoms of the creepers, he remembered his beloved women, their hair loose and flowing.
**105.** The trees along the path, their branches swaying in the wind, seemed to shower flowers upon the king's head, as if in love.
**106.** He saw the trees along the path, their shade, their fruits, their height, and their abundance, all worthy of kings, as if they were imitating the kings themselves.
**107.** He saw the banks of the lakes, covered with the pollen of lotuses, making the travelers wonder if they were covered in gold dust.
**108.** Seeing the Cakravaka bird, weeping in the night-like sky, filled with dust from the army, the king felt compassion for her.
**109.** He saw herds of cows grazing in the forest pastures, their milk flowing like clouds, soaking the surrounding land.
**110.** He saw the lotus flowers, their fragrance filling the air, their stalks like the arms of a dancer, their petals like the banners of victory.
