Chapter Thirty-Five
195 This kokila, following his beloved who is lying on the other bank, is emitting pure, continuous, tear-like vapors. He is slowly entering the lotus pond, whose banks are covered with twenty bisini leaves, his wings laden with lotus pollen. ||230|| This moon, which is stealing the luster of the ripe mrinala, is drawing its own luster from all directions, and is spreading its nectar-showering rays over every group of kumudinis, as if strengthening the bond of embrace out of fear of separation. ||231|| This moon, which is like a lion with a body (mandala) that appears red, soaked in the blood of the group of darkness-like elephants, and whose star-like eyes are obscured or distorted due to sleep, is crossing the sky like a forest and is definitely taking refuge in the secluded place of the setting sun's cave. ||232|| As the sun rises, the swans, along with the calls of the sarasa birds, are going to the shore of the lake, the kokila couples are meeting each other as if their curse has been lifted, the flocks of birds are falling on the trees, making a sound all around, and the world seems to have returned to its former state. ||233|| The red lotus flowers, which are born on the rocks of the rising sun, and the coral forests, which adorn the sky-like ocean, are spreading their splendor, and the evening glow, which is the beauty of the face of the sky, is adorning the sky with its red color. ||234||
