The sun, opening the door of darkness, illuminated the directions with his rays. He had opened the eyes of the world. ||224||
"Rising early in the morning, the sun, with his brilliance, followed the path of a conqueror, taking possession of the lotus-ocean." ||225||
The beautiful-voiced guards, with their loud voices, were awakening the king, even though he was already awake. ||226||
O Lord, who brings joy to the world, and is praised by all, this sun, with his radiant brilliance, is rising in the east. Therefore, you too, following the proper rituals, should leave your bed, to illuminate the world and bring joy to Lakshmi. ||227||
O King of Kings, your armies have conquered countless powerful kings. These small people are mostly unaware of the strength of your arms. O valiant hero, you have striven for victory in the battle with the Lord of Bharata. Therefore, you shall be the master of the victorious Lakshmi. ||228||
The sun, with his rays, quickly wipes away the dew drops on the branches of the garden, like tears falling continuously. As he rises, it seems as if the forest of lotuses, having received joy, is offering him an oblation. ||229||
The beauty of the moonlight was also being stolen, destroyed. ||223||
