Even though the Mahapurana is difficult to understand, it is still possible to achieve it. However, you are clearly being foolish by getting carried away. ||104|| Just because he is older, the king of the Bharatas is not worthy of praise. Even an old elephant cannot match a lion cub. ||105|| Love and respect are possible only among those who are closely related. If there is conflict among them, both are destroyed. ||106|| It is good to bow to an elder at other times, but what is the point of bowing to someone who has placed a sword on your head? ||107|| Messenger, our minds are not swayed by your boasting. There is only one sun that shines brightly. Is there anything brighter than that? ||108|| The Adi Brahma has given the title of "King" to both me and Bharata. But today, Bharata has become "King of Kings," which is as meaningless as a swollen throat. ||109|| Even if Bharata, who has gained immense wealth through jewels, wants to be "King of Kings," we will remain steadfast in our righteous kingdom as Kings. ||110|| Bharata wants to give us a piece of land by deceiving us like children, and then make us bow to him. But the land he gives is as insignificant as a piece of clay. ||111|| For those with a strong mind, the fruit of their own efforts is praiseworthy. The wealth of the four oceans gained through the gestures of another is not worth anything. ||112||
