The great Purana, praising the supreme beauty of this mountain, resounded in the ears of the high priest. The king of the Bharatas, pleased, praised that great mind. ||126||
He, having praised the Himavan as the boundary of his realm, returned to see the Vrishabhadri out of curiosity. ||130||
Which is a hundred yojanas high, and a hundred and fifty yojanas wide, and which, rising upwards, appears like the head of the earth. On whose pleasant slopes, adorned with clusters of bananas, are situated arbors for the enjoyment of the gods and the Vidyadharas, which are surrounded by Nagas, Sahajanas, and Nagakesaras, and whose forests near the foot are never abandoned by the gods. Whose banks are adorned with sparkling crystals, whose body appears like autumn clouds, and which is always accompanied by gods and Vidyadharas. Seeing that mountain, like an ornament of the world, the glorious Bharata considered it to be the reflection of his own glory. ||131-135||
Seeing that one white mountain, which is eternal and will never perish, as the repository of his own glory, the king Bharata was greatly delighted. ||136||
At that time, that mountain appeared as if it were coming to meet the emperor Bharata, who destroys the illusion of all enemies, and was welcoming him with the winds of the forest blowing all around. ||137||
There, Bharata heard his own pure glory sung by the Vidyadharas, Naga-Kumaras, and Kinnara-devas, who were resting near the bank of that mountain. ||138||
