In the meantime, the purohita, wishing to entertain the king, who was gazing at the mountain, addressed him thus:
110. O Lord, this Himavan mountain is very high, always adorned with beauty, and is the best among the Kulachala mountains, therefore it imitates you, it assumes your likeness, because you too are high-minded, always adorned with the wealth of the kingdom, and the best among the kings who have come down from a long line of ancestors.
111. Oh, what a wonder! This huge mountain, which is difficult to climb and impossible to cross, has become subject to you by the mere placing of an arrow on a string, by the power of your virtue.
112. Its golden chain is adorned with various kinds of jewels, it is a hundred yojanas high, and it appears as if it were built from a tank.
113. This mountain, which has entered the salt sea with its eastern and western corners, is so adorned as if it were a measuring rod for the earth.
114. O best of the Bharatas, this great mountain is twice the size of the Bharata region, and its base, middle, and top are all of equal size.
115. On every peak of this mountain, there is a beautiful forest, where Siddhas, Vidyadharas, and Naga-Kumaras reside permanently.
116. The banks of this mountain are very beautiful, adorned with glittering jewels, and the reflections of the celestial nymphs inside make it appear as if many pictures have been drawn there.
117. On the banks of this mountain, which are suitable for enjoying pleasures according to one's desire, Vidyadharas are strolling with their wives.
118. Those gods who play with their Apsaras on the secluded, sacred, and beautiful banks of this mountain, do not find satisfaction anywhere else.
